How It Took One Month to Get Kia of Frisco to Deliver a Spare Tire (That Was Supposed to Be There)

Or: A Master Class in Ignoring Your Own Checklist
When we picked up our 2025 Sorento from Kia of Frisco in March 2026, everything seemed fine. A week later, we realized the spare tire was missing. Seems simple, right? Contact the dealer, ask for the missing part, and move on.
It took over a month. And the story reveals something worse than just poor customer service.
The 165-Point Checklist That Apparently Means Nothing
Kia’s Certified Pre-Owned program includes a mandatory 165-point inspection checklist. Item 144 explicitly reads: “Spare tire condition & properly inflated/Tire mobility kit.” Our vehicle’s checklist? Marked “Meets Guidelines.”
So the dealership signed off. On paper, we had a spare tire.
But when my wife contacted Kia of Frisco about the missing tire, here’s what she got from their sales team:
“Not all pre owned cars come with spare. You do have roadside assistance with the cpo on your Kia.”
Let’s pause here. A dealership that literally checked a box confirming the spare tire was present is now explaining why it doesn’t actually have one. That’s not a discrepancy. That’s a contradiction embedded in their own certification system.
The Timeline: A Month of Silence, Then 24 Hours of Action
This is where Kia of Frisco’s pattern of indifference becomes impossible to ignore.
Mid-March 2026: My wife emails Kia of Frisco about the missing spare tire. No response.
Mid-March to April 16: Silence. For over a month, the dealership doesn’t acknowledge the request. No follow-up. No explanation. Just radio silence from a dealership that claims your satisfaction is their priority.
April 16, 2026: My wife sends a follow-up email. Suddenly, internal emails start flying. They contact Kia Corporate. And here’s the kicker—she’s now labeled an “upset customer.”
Let’s be honest about what that label really means: she wasn’t upset because she’s difficult. She was upset because:
- The car was supposed to have a spare tire (according to their 165-point checklist)
- They had ignored her for a month
- They were now acting like she was the problem instead of them
April 17, 2026: Within one day, the spare tire arrives.
One. Single. Day.
Think about that timeline. A month of inaction, then 24 hours of urgency. Which means they had the spare tire available the entire time. They just didn’t care enough to deliver it until someone escalated the complaint to corporate.
The Marketing Paradox: “Let Us Know How We Can Serve You”
Here’s where Kia of Frisco’s hypocrisy becomes impossible to ignore.
Since we bought the car, Kia of Frisco has added us to their mailing list. And we’re not exaggerating—emails, texts, and physical mail, all with the same message:
- “Let us know how we can serve you.”
- “Is there anything we can do to help?”
- “Your satisfaction is our priority.”
We get these messages weekly. Service specials, inventory updates, customer care commitments. The whole package designed to make you feel valued.
Meanwhile, we’re begging them for a part that was supposed to be on the car from day one.
It’s marketing theater. They’ll spend money on campaigns telling you how much they care, but they won’t spend five minutes fulfilling what they already promised you.
Why This Pattern Matters
This isn’t just about us. If you’re shopping for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle at Kia of Frisco, you need to understand what “Certified” actually means in their system:
It means:
- They’ll check a box saying a part meets guidelines
- They’ll sell you the car without that part anyway
- They’ll ignore your first request
- They’ll only act when you escalate
- But they’ll absolutely spam you with marketing emails about how much they care
The spare tire was a documented item on their own 165-point checklist. It was marked as compliant. And it wasn’t there. That’s not an oversight—that’s a systematic failure to match documentation with reality.
The fact that it took one month to resolve, followed by delivery within 24 hours of escalation, proves they had the capability to solve the problem immediately. They chose not to until forced.

Purchased a car from Kia of Frisco in February. At signing I was told by my sales representative that all paperwork and title would be mailed to me. After 3 weeks I still hadn't received any paperwork and had heard nothing from the dealership. When I called the sales rep he said "I had not paid for a title" which is preposterous as the title comes with every vehicle sale.
After additional texts and calls with the promises of "we are looking into it" another representative emails me saying the state holds the title and that they are backlogged.
Another couple weeks go by and still no title meaning I cannot register it in my home state of Colorado. Another call to the sales rep and now he says it takes 90 days to get a title. In Colorado you have 60 days to register a vehicle before you start incurring fines.
At the 3 MONTH mark from purchase, another representative reaches out saying a form was filled out incorrectly and that they need to send the title to my local DMV and that I had put down my home address. This form was not one that I had filled out before and if there was incorrect information on it it was due to someone at Kia Frisco filling it out incorrectly.
FINALLY nearly 3.5 months from the purchase date they send the title (which they obviously had all along) to my DMV and I am able to register the car.
This operation is clearly undereducated, mismanaged, and constantly bends the truth to provide cover for an incompetent workforce. I have never had to put so much effort into and speak to so many people to achieve something as simple as getting a title for a vehicle that I paid cash for.
I would give Kia Frisco 1 star except that we love the vehicle we purchased and it is as advertised. That being said I would not recommend this dealership to anyone given the post purchase mess they create.

I was looking to buy Kia Telluride today, had an appointment booked for 5pm Saturday post talking to a salesperson (will not share the name here).
I walked in 5 mins before 5pm, informed front desk and was informed someone will attend me soon. I kept getting system messages that someone will come over soon.
Feeling unattended when promised for 5pm appointment, I left for home and drove back 25 mins.
So 50 mins back and forth and 30 mins at the dealership with no discussion, no car showing and no one cares.
Post I left, below are the messages I received and most shocking still no one called until day end…seems senior management is too busy.

I was given a specific delivery timeline at the time of purchase, which turned out to be inaccurate. After completing the transaction and financing, I was informed of additional delays with no clear accountability.
This raises concerns about how transparent the sales process actually is. Customers should not be finalized into a purchase for a vehicle that is not ready for delivery, especially when timelines provided are not honored.I would like to point out that this is NOT a negative reflection on the person who sold me the car, but on the dealerships organization.
Proceed with caution and make sure everything is documented.

It also felt like there was no interest in actually selling the car. Additionally, the representative I was promised over the phone was different from the one I encountered at the dealership. Overall, I regret visiting this dealership. I would say visit some other dealership to save your time.
Pathetic customer service. No one was available to even check what I was there for.

In early March 2026, we bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2025 model. It did not come with a second key, even though it was a previously leased vehicle. Immediately after signing, we were told we could spend $400-$500 for a replacement. The salesperson specifically told us that the dealership had lost the second key.
We have now discovered this vehicle does not have a spare tire or a Tire Mobility Kit. It was required to come with one OR the other, and the original dealer window sticker noted a compact spare tire was originally included. Again, as a lease return, the tire should have been there. We have a signed CPO checklist that says it was there. Now this is a safety issue and a contract issue. Before you purchase a vehicle or sign anything from Kia of Frisco, ask every question you can possibly think of and ensure everything on the checklist is there.
Management did email us and state that replacement keys are "expensive". That felt like a slap in the face after spending $32,000. Regarding the tire or TMK, they said it doesn't have to be included because it's used vehicle...even though is confirmed it on the signed checklist and window sticker. Pictures attached.

Went in looking to buy a Kia Carnival. The salesman assured me it would be quick — "45 minutes and you're out the door." Two hours later he hadn't even started the finance paperwork, then suggested we go home and finish everything online.
We did everything they asked online and were told to just come in and pick up the car as it was ready and approved. I called ahead and explained I had a really busy day and was told 15–30 minutes. So I rearranged my schedule and went down. Sat with him for five minutes before he went to "get the finance manager," then I sat there for over an hour while he walked around chatting with other customers without acknowledging me.
(The whole interaction was off — unprofessional, no enthusiasm, and a strange overfamiliarity that just felt weird. I ended up walking out because I had places to be.)
When I rebooked for the Saturday, they told me about an hour before my appointment that they needed documents they'd never mentioned before — so even if I had waited the second time, they would have sent me away again. Then they asked for an "Article of Incorporation" for an LLC, which doesn't exist — LLCs have Articles of Organization. When I explained this to the finance manager, he had no interest in helping or understanding the issue. No apology for any of the previous experiences after I explained everything to him. It was like talking to a bot. (Images)
I told them to forget it. They didn't even respond. No call, no follow-up, no apology. After I'd spent $65 on Ubers to come and buy a $55,000 car from them, they just didn't care. The whole experience was disorganized and felt like they couldn't care less about making a sale. Go somewhere else.
Context for the pictures:
1. Not a care in the world about the previous issues — blunt, unhelpful responses. We're talking about a $55,000 car.
2.The finance manager said "forms that have that title on it." The images he eventually sent weren't even Articles of Incorporation — they were Texas Certificate of Filing documents, when I'd already told them my business isn't from Texas and it's not even the same form.
3.No apology from the salesman either — just "out of my hands," blaming other people in his own dealership.

Our car buying experience was nothing short of terrible.
We did the deal over the phone and online which was not super fun in itself as they kept changing numbers around without our approval. I guess that should’ve been sign one.
Then, we let our salesman know we would be there after a 6 hour drive in today, and he said our car “might not” be ready. Ummm? You have 6 hours. Regardless, we made the drive in and walked in the dealership asking for our salesman and we had to have 2 separate people try to call him and nobody got back with us. We eventually called him ourselves and he told us he left early for the day because he didn’t feel well. 💀 weren’t going to notify us of that after we told you we were driving 6 hours in??? And nobody else seemed to know where you were. Ooookay.
Next, a woman approached us to help us and said someone would be taking over and helping us. We waited for another hour and a half with no one doing anything. We found that same lady and told her we were just going to leave. She was upset and said no please come with me and took us in to one of the finance team members and asked him to help us immediately, which he did.
We were able to sign paperwork and get everything done very quickly with him. He let us know if we have a seat they would be done with the final cleaning and putting gas in our new car very soon.
We waited ANOTHER HOUR before we went back into his office to ask, and nobody had done anything in this time. Someone else was sitting around with our car key in their pocket doing nothing. We received the car with an empty tank of gas (the finance guy did offer to fill it personally) and the back seat covered in crumbs. At this point we just wanted to leave.
The only helpful people in this situation were Marisol (the saleswoman who helped us find help) and Paul (the finance guy.) we have gratitude toward them and them alone.
This should have been an extremely easy experience being that we did all the work from our house over the phone, but turned into over 3 hours of absolute misery. I would never recommend this dealership and will definitely not be back.

Brought my 22 rio in for standard maintenance and needed a new key fob. They told me I would need a separate appointment to address the fob issue.
This was about a year ago.
Had to take the kia in to have the positive battery terminal replaced and took it to Carrollton. They fixed the issue, washed the inside and outside of my car, and replaced the fob, unasked, for free.
The choice of where I will be going moving forward is obvious.

I had one of the worst car-buying and customer service experiences of my life with this dealership.
I purchased a used vehicle from Kia of Frisco and was never informed that it had been in a prior accident. I only found this out THREE YEARS later when another dealership ran the VIN and showed me the report proving it had accident history.
From the very first day I drove the car home, it had mechanical problems. It misfired while I was driving it home, and over the next few years it became a constant financial burden. I had spent over $3,000 on exhaust repairs alone when the exhaust completely failed, along with dealing with leaks and repeated issues that drained my bank account.
I went back to Kia of Frisco multiple times trying to trade the car in or get out of the loan because it was becoming impossible to keep up with the repair costs. Each time, I was told something different:
• “Come back next year.”
• “Bring $1,000 down.”
• Then suddenly, “Bring $6,000 down.”
On top of that, every time I came in they ran my credit multiple times, which hurt my credit score and wasted hours of my time, only to tell me they still couldn’t help me. There was no transparency and no real effort to work with me — just moving the goalpost while I continued struggling with a car they sold me without full disclosure.
It was extremely upsetting to later learn that the vehicle had accident history the entire time, which explains many of the mechanical problems and why the car was worth far less than what I owed.
Thankfully, another dealership finally helped me and put me in a reliable, brand-new car. But I will never do business with Kia of Frisco again and would strongly caution others to demand full vehicle history reports and verifying that the vehicle is safe and reliable before purchasing here.
This experience caused years of unnecessary financial stress, damaged my credit, and could have been avoided with honesty and transparency.

Absolutely terrible experience — avoid this dealership at all costs. From the very beginning, we clearly stated that we were only interested in a 2026 /2025 Kia Niro Hybrid. If the vehicle was not available, they should have told us upfront. Instead, Elizabeth and AJ from the sales team asked us to come in, fully knowing they did not have the car, which resulted in a complete waste of our time.
This feels misleading and highly unprofessional. There was no respect for the customer’s time, and the entire visit could have been avoided with honest communication. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to confirm availability before visiting — or better yet, choose a different dealership altogether.

Be careful with all those scheduling services and the repairs/suggestions they make after "evaluating" your car. Their priorities have changed, and they are hungry to sell you more things than what your car needs. Their ethics at work and with their customers are below the floor. Customers are not important. I am a witness to customer trust abuse and to the lack of professionalism and follow-up on my case from those at higher levels in their org chart... I will leave this as a statement: I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE, THAT PLACE (KIA OF FRISCO) SUCKS, and WHEN I HAVE MY FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO SELL MY CAR, I WILL NEVER, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, BUY KIA AGAIN!

Awful experience. We came in ready to purchase a car & truly had the worst experience.
1 - we had to wait 45 minutes for a "manager meeting" to end to proceed with the purchase. We were sitting on the showroom floor, cash in hand, looking up into this fishbowl meeting room waiting for their meeting to end. Why? They don't care about your time.
2 - The computer you input your information into holds the data. I could see the name, address, employer, and income for the 5 previous people who had used that computer. When I alerted the guy working with us, he could not have cared less. They don't care about your privacy.
3 - After making the purchase, they regularly called me multiple times a week about purchasing a car (which I already did) until I blocked the number. Their data organization is awful and once again they completely disregard their customer's time.
They got our business because they had the car we wanted and an APR deal, but if you can avoid it, please don't give them any of your time, data, or money.

The sales representative was only willing to discuss pricing if I agreed to purchase the vehicle immediately. I was not given sufficient time to understand the car’s features, compare options, or make an informed decision.
Buying a car is a significant investment, and customers should be given the opportunity to review details, ask questions, and feel comfortable before committing. The pressure to make an immediate decision without proper discussion made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional.
I hope the dealership improves its customer approach by allowing buyers the time and information needed to make confident decisions.

I contacted them 3 times about it and got the run around every single time. I was referred to two different managers and requested they check the footage but was consistently left without answers or call backs. This was fall of last year and I ended up giving up because I was extremely pregnant at the time, but they’ve texted me about leaving a review a few times so here we are!

I purchased a used 2022 Kia Carnival in December of 2025. Overall I think the dealership did a pretty poor job inspecting and cleaning the car before we purchased it. I've already ran into a pre-existing maintenance issue (about a month and a half later). Be cautious about purchasing used from this place and know that you can cancel the expensive Kia Care Maintenance Package before 60 days and get your money back.
The day of purchase, the Carnival was missing the second row middle seat which is why my wife and I liked the Carnival. Sales didn't seem to notice until we mentioned it. They contacted the previous owner to see if they could get the seat. The rear seats were folded down when we looked at it. I folded them up and found a bunch of French fries and crackers in the seat. They cleaned it upon our request. About a week after purchase, they let me know the owner had the seat. They tried to get me to drive to Plano to pick the seat up at the previous owner's storage unit. I told them I wanted them to get it from the previous owner, and I'll pick it up from the dealership. They did that, and I picked up the seat from them. When I tried to install the seat, the tracks were misaligned and jammed. There were about 5 or 6 dried gummy bears in the tracks that had melted and clogged the tracks. I spent about 30 minutes digging them out of the track with a screwdriver. Seat works fine now, but I'm pretty annoyed because this could have been prevented with proper inspection and cleaning.
About a month and a half after purchasing, the Carnival started leaking oil in my driveway. I took it back to the dealership in hopes they would fix it since I haven't driven enough to need an oil change. The maintenance team said it was a pre-existing condition because the gaskets in the oil pan needed replacement. My extended warranty package covered most of the cost of the repair, but there was a $200 deductible. I asked them to cover that cost since I just bought this thing. The sales manager originally declined to cover the cost. I tried calling him and after the third call up to the dealership, I finally got ahold of him. He was understanding and ended up covering the cost which was nice. Don't understand why it took a phone call for them to do the right thing, but they did do the right thing to their credit.
All the issues I've had so far could have been caught with proper inspection and cleaning.
I'm also pretty annoyed that the sales team forced me into purchasing a Kia Car maintenance package. I told them I did not want it. It was over-priced and just not worth it if you did the math on what it actually covers (this is for oil changes and tire rotations). They told me they had to include it, and after negotiating the price three separate times, we settled on a price. Still garbage, but at least it was a little discounted. After the oil leak incident, I was tired of walking into this place, and still pretty mad I'm having to deal with all these issues. I read the fine print of the Kia Care maintenance contract, and you can cancel it before 60 days and get your money back. I will be doing that ASAP because I don't want to go back to this place.
One last thing to end my rant. Marii, F&I manager, was a little salesy and somewhat dishonest. She said the only extended warranty packages were the gold and platinum packages since this Carnival we were purchasing had quite a few miles on it. These packages were super expensive, and just not worth it in my opinion. I declined those packages, and only after declining those, she mentioned one last package that was available. It was an extended warranty package that covered the engine and transmission only. It was reasonably priced so I agreed to that, and that's ultimately what covered my oil leak repair. But she only offered that package after I declined the gold and platinum packages. Felt a little dishonest and sneaky. Especially since no one told me about the cancellation clause in the Kia Care maintenance package.
Just beware and ask a lot of questions if you buy from this place.

Since when does Kia cost MORE than BMW, Cadillac, Tesla, and Volvo? At these prices, Kia is no longer the “affordable brand.”
The gap between advertised pricing and actual quotes is ridiculous. Classic bait-and-switch.

Poor Customer Service... Upon scheduling using their online scheduling system and confirming with a resource who called me to confirm the appointment and ask me if I would be interested in speaking with their team to purchase a new car of which I responded not at this time, I just needed to bring my car in to have it checked out as the engine light had just come on. Not only did I state why and that I would be waiting with my car for the appointment both online and with the service representative, however upon driving 45 minutes to get to Kia of Frisco I gave the service agent my name and stated I had an appointment in which he asked again why I was there and after telling him the reason, he asked me if I was prepared to leave my car with them. I stated no as I would be waiting and at that time, I was informed that it would take 2 - 3 days for them to take a reading and provide me with the issue. He informed me that only his Master Tech could perform that service and if I wasn't prepared to leave my car for 2 - 3 days then they could not assist me. They had multiple opportunities to provide that information to me, especially when they called me to try and sell me a new car.
After leaving there, I took my Kia car to a mechanic on the way back home and they were able to immediately assist me with providing the codes Kia of Frisco needed 2 - 3 days and a Master Technician available to provide.
If you're not in the market for a new car and have a Kia that need servicing, do yourself a favor and either find another Kia service center or a mechanic and not waste your time dealing with individuals that seem more interested in providing service to customers not interested in looking to get into a new car.
Stood in the center of the lobby with noone greeting us or even asking if they can help us! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Left to another dealership

Eventually just had to go to the county and get it from them because the dealership never got it to me. Service department is hit or miss. Usually miss. It does not take 2+ hours for an oil change. Why do I even make an appointment if it doesn't matter.

I had some dude from Kia call me every day, when I scheduled an appointment to look at cars including a car that was exactly what we are looking for
I spoke to the sales person and he informed me that the car is on the lot
I was baited and switched, wait and this salesperson, called in sick, dude is in sales, unless your liver is on the outside of your body you go to work.
As you can expect the car was sold a week ago, so tbey decided that car was not for me, they have one that was 8 thousand dollars more.
All this guy had to say is that the car is sold, here are some options in your price range.
Anyway we purchased a brand new car from their competition

I was very excited about this car. This Kia will blow you up with calls and texts but not give a damn about your appointments set and let their employees take it.
AI answering service is terrible, cant get ahold of a human for multiple days and multiple attempts and not a call back.

I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before making the trip to Kia Frisco. Felt like bait and switch tactics and dishonest pricing.
I called ahead specifically to explain my situation because I live an hour away. After being assured it would be "worth my time" to come in for New Year’s Eve deals, I ended up wasting three hours for nothing.
On the phone, I was told to use their online portal for a trade-in estimate which came back at $34K. Despite my car being in great shape with new tires, low mileage, they dropped the offer by $10,000 once I arrived without providing any justification.
I told them I was flexible to any new EV9 to get the best deal and they had picked one with 200 miles (which is fine if the discounts matched). Online, they had listed dealer discounts but when they showed their offer, there was no dealer discount applied -- dishonest pricing.
I was told over the phone that we could be close to where I wanted to be and it would be best to come in to talk numbers to show commitment. After spending 3 hours with them, we were so far apart on the first offer it wasn't even worth discussing.
This is my second time here, and both times they have failed to provide a reasonable or fair offer. They start their negotiations at an absurdly high baseline and im sure they have immense volume that they don't care about the individual customer's time or experience.
Extremely disappointing. Save yourself the drive and the headache.

My experience at Kia of Frisco was nothing but inconvenience stacked on top of inconvenience.
I was offered a ride-share program while my vehicle was being serviced, only for the dealership to not follow through or commit to it at all. Don’t offer solutions you have no intention of honoring—it wastes customers’ time and creates unnecessary frustration.
To make matters worse, the dealership refused to repair my coolant condenser and instead provided a clearly fabricated explanation, claiming a rock somehow entered my grill and punctured it. This explanation felt like a convenient excuse to avoid responsibility rather than an honest assessment. There was no clear evidence, just a story that shifted accountability away from the dealership.
Between broken promises, poor communication, and questionable explanations, this dealership showed a lack of professionalism and transparency. When you’re dealing with vehicle repairs—especially something as critical as a cooling system—you expect honesty and follow-through. I received neither.
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for reliable service or straight answers.

When it came time to get my oil changed, I scheduled an appointment to get that done as well as a detail, which was previously discussed during the car buying process. when I brought my car in for the appointment the man at the service counter said "that is something that we don't do" instead of trying to be understanding or helpful Mr. Gabriel told me that I needed to "go find my salesperson and take it up with him". The lack of customer service skill was shocking to say the least, it felt as if Mr. Gabriel thought I was lying and sent me away. Instead of problem-solving it was more like he dumped the responsibility on someone else so he didn't have to deal with it. The entire experience was embarrassing and insulting to be honest. The 2 guys I spoke to at the service counter were very rude It makes me not want to return in the future for any servicing needs I may have.

The night when I picked up the car, the car was not charged enough for me to get to the drive home. The service for these 2 items were very poorly handled and just not done. The salesman that assisted me was Adam Rollefson.

Negative updated review 12-10-25 to this kia dealer in frisco. I have updated this review for consumers to be aware of the shady business practices kia of frisco is involved in and practices daily. The service department is no better either as they have damaged my car. Kia of Frisco is out of line. I NEVER go out of my way to write reviews that reflect negatively unless I’ve given multiple chances for improvement because we all have bad days and because I don’t want this to happen to someone else. Please Go to clay Cooley or Southwest Kia or any other Kia dealer. The experience I had at Southwest Kia when we purchased our daughters car far exceeds what Kia of Frisco practices, Don’t let Kia of Frisco’s commercials and location and their 4.5 stars mislead you. Kia of Frisco will grinch you and smile while they’re doing it and servicing it. mAndrea Fuentes is a liar in financing, Brian the “new” general manager is no good either as I emailed him about the damage done to my car at their service department and it’s been over a month and he’s not replied. Please look away from Kia of Frisco like as if it were Sodom and Gomorrah. Peace be with you consumer.
The worst car buying experience at Kia of Frisco is the reason for a negative review for serious inquiriers to be alerted to the unprofessional conduct service and lack of customer care. The dealership does not inspect vehicles. My brand new car I bought at Kia if Frisco was green light for me to pick up and before I left I checked for the following. Take in mind Kia of Frisco said it was ready to pick up. No dealers tag or plate of sort so the vehicle would be in compliance with dmv requirements to drive in Texas roads, 3 of the rims were scratched, there was light a scratch on the car, the tint they the dealership adds on for markup was not installed. There is a scratch on the driver door vertical molding, there was a scratch on the left side driver side passenger wheel well. The rear molding of the bumper was scratched. I let the sales guy Luke know all this and he said Jonathan would be handing all these things. When they called me back to take care of the damaged rims the scratches and to tint the vehicle I gladly dropped it off to them to have this properly cared for. When I came back to pick up the car they said they replaced all 4 rims but one rim that was not damaged was now damaged. The scratch they said they buffed out left a dent were they buffed it because they applied too much pressure with the buffing machine or they used their hand to apply leverage to get up off the floor or mal intent was done to the car. I told Luke the sales guy and he called his manager Jonathan and Jonathan said “we don’t inspect for things like that”. I told him I bet if it was a trade in the you would be looking for things like that. He said don’t worry we’ll take care of it. It’s been 3 months and my car has been in storage while I await the phone call to have them address and fix these issues. FYI my license plate is here phone call is all I received recently. I went to pick the license plate up and Luke just starred my wife and I down when I was expecting him to say hello. Seems like he did not care and just proceeded to engage in foul looks towards my wife and I. FYI, all this fiasco with Kia if Frisco began 12-30-24 and today is 3-13-25 and I’ve yet to receive a phone call to resolve these matters. Buyer beware and take your hard earned money else where, I recommend southwest Kia as my wife’s experience was much more pleasant and customer care was exceptional. I know I was there with her when she made her purchase. If southwest Kia is too far for you then I suggest Kia of McKinney or Huffines Kia. Kia of Frisco only wants your money to keep paying for flaw advertising commercials. Save yourself the headache hardship and experience if you value your hard earned money. This review will change of Kia of Frisco does right by the customer. Until then it stays. You’ve been officially warned.

The Finance and back-office personnel at Kia of Frisco seem to be super sloppy and extremely communications-challenged! They don't care about the customer after a car has been sold. I purchased a Genesis Electrified G80 from them (it was a cash purchase), and a finance guy named Samuel handed me the plates for it, while assuring me that all the registration paperwork would be handled promptly. He told me I didn't have to do a thing but to wait for the title paperwork to come in. The registration was supposed to be in my Trust's name. I gave them the Memorandum of Trust document, along with all other paperwork they asked for. Two months go by, and I don't hear a peep from them! When I follow up with the sales rep (Angelo), he just gives vague (and incorrect) responses and says their Front Desk will call me shortly. Nothing of that sort happens. I follow up again after a couple weeks, and Samuel tells me that they finally heard from the DMV "that morning" (sure they did!) and now they want me to send them an Affidavit of Trust this time. I have purchased other cars from other dealers via the Trust, and never had this sort of problems. It appears the finance guys here just dropped the ball and didn't bother filing the paperwork after they sold me the car. When I followed up two months later, that's when they started working on it. Whenever I text or email the sales rep, I don't get anything meaningful back. Emails to their finance dept only gets me monosyllabic 1-liners -- the sort of response you would get from a grouchy 4th-grader!
These guys need to learn how to communicate with their customers. I do realize when you are dealing with the DMV, things can get lost or delayed or rules can change, but it's incumbent on the dealership and their team to notify the customer and keep them in the loop. These guys don't know the meaning of "proactive communications"!
Long story short, it's been over two months since I purchased my car, and I'm still driving with the temporary tags, while I wait for these guys to get their act together! I have been emailing them regularly but they don't seem to care (they respond with a 1-liner to one out of 3 emails I send them.) Very unfortunate that I chose to buy from them.

The last car we purchased, 6 months ago, we still do not have our state tags. When we contact them we get the run around. They tell us we have to talk to our sales guy. He is great! Not his screw up. I actually feel bad they keep making him deal with it. We get told someone will call us and guess what no calls back! We have even been there in person and get the run around. I ask for the manager and was put on hold for 20 mins. I am frustrated, annoyed and so unhappy. We just want... no need the tags ASAP and someone to give us a plan instead of we are going to call you back. And nope nothing! I want this issue solved.

Worst car buying experience of my life. Bought a new Telluride with the passenger side front bumper misaligned. I was called out to pick it up three times over three weeks and it was never correct (the car salesman and service manager need their eyesight checked). The service manager agreed the passenger side front bumper was not seated the same as the driver side but claimed it was within spec. He then compared it to his personal wrecked vehicle with ~$30k in damages that wasn’t the same after the accident… Seriously? This is a new vehicle!!! I ended up swapping for a different vehicle but now my Kia Finance account is messed up (It shows the old vehicle). After calling Kia Finance, I was told to call the Finance Department of Kia of Frisco. I called several times and Kia of Frisco will not call me back or help after spending ~$45k with them. I’ve spent hours on the phone with Kia Finance to no avail when I just want to pay my vehicle off (I was waiting on an insurance claim; otherwise, I wouldn’t have financed). Now I’m accumulating interest because Kia Finance literally won’t take my money and Kia of Frisco refuses to help. Even though I have free maintenance for the first year and lifetime battery (forced add ons), I’ll never go back to Kia of Frisco. While I hate posting a bad review, hopefully someone over at Kia will do their job and help facilitate resolving the issues I’m having with Kia Finance that Kia of Frisco caused!
Edit: I emailed Patrick on 11/25/25 as requested. As of 12/2/25, I have not received a reply.
Still waiting for an "Express" oil change and rotation. It's been nearly 3 hours and still don't know when the car will be done. Last time I'll ever come here for service.

While the sales process was straightforward, the level of post-sale support and customer service has been disappointing. After purchasing a KIA Carnival, I encountered an issue with the rear right tire. Despite multiple follow-ups, the dealership has yet to provide a proper resolution, and the assistance offered has been minimal and unhelpful. Their approach feels transactional, with little regard for customer care after the sale.

Their website advertises and allows the option to choose a free ride share within 15 miles radius if one needs to drop the vehicle for servicing. While I reached service center they outright denied it stating website is not updated and they have stopped it recently (although I just booked appointment 2 days before). Basically seems they are false advertising it to gain customers.
If I was aware before I could have adjusted the servicing based on other suitable timings.
Please double confirm all the details as it seems their customer service has detoriorated a lot.

My recent experience with Kia of Frisco was disappointing overall. Communication from Mike Nelson could have been much better — his attitude during the pricing discussion came across as dismissive and unhelpful. Unfortunately, the vehicle I purchased had not gone through the proper pre-delivery inspection, which caused unnecessary hassle after the sale.
To make matters worse, the finance manager was missing several of the signed documents from our paperwork, creating additional delays and follow-ups that shouldn’t have been necessary.
In summary, while the dealership has potential, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail from both sales and finance made the buying experience frustrating.

Our salesman was Otis. It took 2 days to purchase my daughter's first car on her own. We picked one out, online, that was perfect. It was a lengthy process. Though that is not the issue. The service supposed done before you take ownership of the car was NOT done and Otis told us it was. When it came time for the first oil change. The was no wiper fluid, antifreeze, or any other fluid that should have been done just 2 months prior when we purchased it.
I felt like I should not have had to double check the vehicle, but there again....he is a used car salesman.
Lesson learned!!

I was called to trade in my Kia carnival and I was working with Brendan and Jacob and these guys don’t care and neither respect your time which you have spent to coming to dealership and effort.
I would never go to this dealership again as they have bad business ethics and practices.
Hence I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
Thanks
Needed an oil change for my Kia Forte. Oil change was fine, but the crew members have sticky fingers and stole my construction glasses out of the passenger door side of my car. Not cool.

He said he was going to help me. It took all day to get back ahold of him. At 5 still no help i beg to talk to a manager after a hr got a hold of one he was very rude and a Smart Alec. He told me one thing on the phone and then changed it all when it was put on paper. The online sell’s Manager Charlie was the only one it was professional nice and was trying to help but it was really out of his hands. So we finally got numbers right. So i made the hr and half drive to the dealership. Got there and the car was covered in hail damage that was not shown in pictures online. The front windshield had a very deep crack in it again, not showing on their Photoshop pictures online. They claim they do a full Inspection and they check out all their used vehicles which is a lie. I get there and vehicle was not ready to be sold. They claim it was a one owner clean Carfax. The dash said the passenger door was open And it was not, and it kept all the inside lights on in The ceiling and no matter what you did they would not turn off. We locked the car and waited for over 20 minutes, and the lights were still on. They said they would not fix it because it’s a used car and if they put money in it, they would lose money on it. So if I bought it the first morning, I would had a dead battery. Jacob torres Kept running off and talking to a none customers. I had a pretty much force him to let me test drive it more than just around the block and they wouldn’t let me on the freeway because they said it was a toll road and I wasn’t allowed to take the car on the toll road, but that was the only freeway around. They claim they put New brakes and new tires on all used cars but the tire light was on and the brakes were not new at all. When I started doing a test drive, the car had 15 miles to E and gas light on. The car went into like a coasting mode and he was saying that I made that up. I asked him to put gas in it, and they did finally did put gas in it It did seem like the coasting went away after there was gas in it. They said i had to pay a $300 tint fee because they tinted the vehicle. Why did they tint the windows when they needed to replace the front windshield. And fix why the dash was saying the passenger door was open and keeping ceiling lights on. This is a very unprofessional and very dishonest dealership. Make sure to read all their Reviews because I’m not the only one this has happened to. It seems like they have a track record for being dishonest. And just to be clear, there was NO misunderstanding on my end.

I purchased a 2024 certified pre-owned vehicle from Kia as a walk-in a few months ago, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. The buying process took over four hours, even though I was paying without financing. The repeated “let me check with my manager” delays made the process feel unnecessarily drawn out and unprofessional.
At the time of purchase, I was provided only one key and was not informed beforehand that the vehicle came with a single key. This was never disclosed during the sale or in the “Certified Pre-Owned Inspection” report, which I had to request several times and only received as a photo weeks later. I called the dealership the same day to address the issue and was told someone would call me back — no one ever did. Over the next few weeks, I followed up multiple times and was told to wait 30 days. I later realized that the delay coincided with the activation of the family care plan I purchased, which included coverage for a “lost key,” meaning the dealership would not have to absorb the cost of a replacement.
When I raised these concerns again during a follow-up call, the responsibility was repeatedly deferred to managers I had never interacted with during the purchase process. To add to my disappointment, I later learned that the vehicle was sold with an open recall that currently has no available remedy, and the affected condition continues to worsen.
Overall, the experience left me questioning the transparency and professionalism of the dealership. I would strongly recommend that future customers confirm all details around a "Certified Pre-Owned" as it felt like a sham.

Checking the the engine oil dipstick there was no oil inside and looked underneath saw oil leaking everywhere found a mechanic and they said the dealership did not put the o ring on the new filter and that the filter was loose so that’s why all the oil was leaking! I took my Kia Telluride (still under warranty) to Kia Frisco after it suddenly wouldn’t change gears. I originally scheduled an appointment for Friday, but after being advised over the phone to come Thursday to get it checked sooner, I went to the express lane, only to be told by service rep Jay Keller that it would actually take 48 hours, not 24 as I was first told.
By Saturday (2 days with the car untouched), I hadn’t received a single update. Every time I called, it took over an hour for someone to return my call. When I finally reached Jay, he changed the estimate again to 2–3 days and became defensive and very rude when I asked why the timeline kept changing. When I asked for a supervisor, Jay Keller said he’d “been listening the whole time,” almost as if it was ok to talk to a customer like that in-front of his supervisor, which was very unprofessional. The supervisor was at least polite, but the overall experience was frustrating, unclear, and poorly managed.
In the end, nothing was done to my transmission because the issue didn’t occur during their test drive, and my car sat there for days untouched and with very poor communication. Kia Frisco really needs to improve their appointment process, communication, and customer service attitude. Sadly, this experience made me question buying another Kia in the future.

They’ll make up their “losses” in the finance office. You need to beware the dealer markup.
We purchased a certified pre-owned 2023 Kia Sportage from Kia of Frisco a week or so ago, & once again, I'm reminded why buying a vehicle is such a beating.
I do want to say up front that Luke Knight, the young man who helped us from a sales perspective, was helpful & pleasant. So while the overall experience was discouraging, my interactions with him were not. Luke is why this is a 2-star review & not a 1-star review.
My daughter did the research & located the vehicle. She handled the test drive & the initial conversations. My goal was to agree to terms over the phone before making the 45 minute drive to the dealership. When the dealership came back about $500 apart from our offer, I called & spoke to Hunter Venables (Sales Manager) to close the gap. We went back & forth but eventually agreed to terms. I tolerated the usual “I can’t lose money on this deal” line & told him we’d put down about 40% & finance the rest. The goal was simple: get in & out quickly.
When I finally made it to the dealership & into the finance office, it became clear how they planned to make up what they “gave up” in negotiations. Kaden Pennell, the finance manager, (who by the way, could not have looked less interested in working with us. His tone, body language, & lack of eye contact all said, “I don’t want to be here & I really don't want you to be here as well.”) presented an interest rate about 200–250 basis points higher than it should have been for my credit profile.
In fact, when he handed me the Credit Score Disclosure Notice, it showed my credit score higher than 99% of the population. I told him, “I’ve got super-prime credit; I know what my rate should be.” It was obvious they were marking up the buy rate from the lender to pad their dealer reserve. I told Kaden that was unacceptable & he said that was Hunter's instructions. When I told him to go find Hunter, he confirmed it, saying that was “the only way he’d do the deal” (i.e. I'll only do the deal if I can make up they money I gave away in discount to you buy getting it back from the lender by overcharging you through your interest rate. For those who don't know - this is standard practice in auto finance. The way it works is the lender gives the dealership a buy rate...this is the rate the customer actually qualifies for based on their credit & then they allow the dealership to increase that buy rate by several percentage points. The difference between the buy rate & the final rate goes to the dealer...it's additional profit for the dealer. So the more the dealer is able to raise the rate, the more they make. Ignorant customers are the dealerships best customers.). Anyway, after some back & forth, Hunter dropped the rate by a whopping 50 basis points, still 1.5–2% higher than what I actually qualified for. To be clear, the interest on this loan isn't that significant...it's the principle.
We had agreed to a structure, but then they tried again to sneak in another ~$700 or so by increasing the rate. They got caught. And how do I know they knew they got caught? Because they never asked me to complete the Kia of Frisco survey. Every other dealership I’ve dealt with in the past 15 years has asked for feedback, always. Dealers live & breathe by their surveys. But not this time.
So here’s the reality: they tried to make up their “discount” by marking up my loan rate. And when they realized I knew what they were doing…that they'd been caught, they just went quiet.
This is why people hate buying cars. It’s this kind of nonsense. It's the sense that no matter what you agree to, the dealership is not being forthright in some aspect of the process. So if you’re going to Kia of Frisco, have your ducks in a row & good luck.
So I’ve had my Kia Sportage for about a year. I hate this car. It’s slow and not only that the interest rate I got was at 11%!!!! I even had a co-signer that had an excellent credit score. Now I’m selling it because I just cannot afford a $858 dollar car payment! This is why women hate going to dealerships. They see us and think they can take advantage of us. I will never buy a Kia again not only from this dealership but ever again.
Watch the used cars they are selling, multiple issues after only 2 days and a motor needing replaced after 2 weeks.

HIDDEN FEES and OVERPRICED
Unprofessional and undertrained sales staff. They are not upfront about the prices. The $2900 dealer add-ons that you cannot buy any of their vehicles without is ridiculous. There are many dealerships that do not charge dealer add-ons. While Ferguson Kia is a bit of a drive, it would be worth it to not be swindled. They are not up front about the $7500 tax credit, saying that Kia figures that into the incentives for leases. There is a dealership in Longview that is not shady about this but their stock is depleted because they are not shady.
Just for reference. The dealer discount at Kia Frisco is around $1500. Every other dealership I have looked at has had dealer discounts from $2,500 at the low side to $5,819 at the high side. YOU WILL FIND A BETTER DEAL AT PRETTY MUCH ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP, without question. And several of the other dealerships do not hit you with $3,000 +/- of "dealer installed add-ons".

Was told they would replace all four tires, but after two hours of waiting they only changed two. They said there wasn’t anything wrong and I can take the other two tires home. So I did. All my tires were fine until a week ago. The two they didn’t change are wearing down so I went to replace them. This is the first time I’m getting my tires serviced since buying the car. Well Kia of Frisco stole my tire key and refused to help me find it or replace it. I am stuck with a broken valve stem and two almost bald tires. I called the service department today where he ridiculed me for not putting the tires on sooner. Refused to give me the service order for my car and offered no help on how to find the key or order a key. He admitted to having ‘extra keys’ to try for my the wheel locks. No sir, you don’t have extras, YOU STOLE MINE. Leaving me two hours away with no way to change a tire. If my tire blows I’ll have to tow my entire car and they expect me to drive over two hours?? Over their mistakes?? Absolutely not. I won’t be putting my life at risk. I hate Kia of Frisco. I will figure this out on my own. If I am injured in an accident related to this mistake, I will sue. You will be hearing from me again. But thank you so much Kia of Frisco, for stealing, gaslighting, and then not holding any accountability. I am stuck with no solution to this problem because of you. My child needs this car to be safe when I take him to places, but that doesn’t matter to you guys because you’ve made your money now. You don’t care about your customers or their well beings after you take their money.

We had a terrible experience at Frisco of Kia over Labor Day weekend while trying to get a Kia EV9 for my wife.
From the very beginning, the process was slow — we had to wait for every single detail. After finally negotiating and agreeing on a price, Anthony, one of their managers, suddenly told us the car had already been sold. He asked us to return the next day because they could bring in another car from a different store. To save time, we signed the paper for the agreed price and my wife provided her personal details, including her SSN, in their online system. We were assured multiple times that no credit check would be pulled until we were physically back in the showroom to finalize the deal.
The next day, Anthony called to say they would not honor the agreed price and instead wanted an additional $2,000 for the same exact car and configuration. When we refused, he abruptly hung up on us. Later that day, we discovered a credit inquiry from Kia on my wife’s credit report — despite their promise that no credit check would be run unless we were in the dealership the next day.
This experience was not only unprofessional but also deceptive. They wasted our time, went back on their word, and pulled credit without consent. Avoid this dealership if you value honesty and transparency.

I was not happy with my experience, to say the least. My son had picked out a K4 from their inventory, and since I live 1.5 hours away, we decided to make a family trip to see it.
First, I had to call just to make an appointment. Once we arrived, we were rushed into a quick test drive and then immediately pressured to “go sign the papers.” The salesman clearly assumed that since I drove that far, the deal was already done.
I told him upfront that I had $17K down and was ready to make a deal. Instead, I got the classic salesman runaround. The “lowest” they could do was MSRP. What a joke.
For anyone reading this: don’t let a pushy dealership dictate what you pay. Come prepared with your own number, be willing to walk out, and know you have options. Manufacturers sell these vehicles to dealers with plenty of margin (25–30%), so don’t let them convince you otherwise.
In the end, we walked away and went to Kia of Mesquite. Completely different experience—no hassle, no games. They worked with us, gave us a fair deal, and earned our business.

This Kia service center has been the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been dealing with a door issue for over a year, and even though I showed them videos and the problem happened right in front of their staff, they have never fixed it.
They have kept my car multiple times for days, the last time for six full days just sitting outside in the sun with nothing done. Before that, they even kept it for over three weeks and still didn’t fix a thing. During all this time, I had to pay for Ubers while also paying my car payment, and it’s clear this company doesn’t care about the customer’s time, money, or needs.
When I asked about the car, I was told it was only checked once and “had no issues,” which is completely false. I had proof, I showed them videos, and the issue even happened in front of them. Still, they ignored it.
On top of that, Zach Phillips treated me very rudely and with no respect. Strangely, when my dad came with me, he suddenly acted like a different person and spoke politely. That kind of two-faced and unprofessional behavior is disgusting.
I even sent them multiple emails and never got a single reply.
This dealership wasted my time, my money, and my trust. I do not recommend buying a car here or servicing your vehicle at this location.

If you want to get over charged compared to other Kia dealerships this is the place for you. I had rated them here before based on them being friendly and timely service completion but my latest visit opened my eyes. Was getting a new key for my daughters K5, when she brought home the bill had almost $60 at the bottom in Miscellaneous charges. So I called the dealership and asked what it was for. I could clearly see the charges for the new key, cutting it and programming it. They said Shop Supplies, we charge everyone that. I asked what supplies, it isn't like you needed oil or anything typically covered under that category. They said we charge everyone one that no matter the work. I asked why out want clearly labled like the other charges, he said that just the way they do it.
Being concerned about what I was being charged, i called 2 more Kia dealerships and they both quoted me prices about $200 less. I am convinced they are putting charges under Misc because they are trying to hide it so they can line their pockets.
Update: They did refund the difference. I may try them again but I will be watching the charges like a hawk. If they had just charged me fairly with a competitive price in the first place I would never have noticed.
Kia is great, but not this dealer

They offered a $500 discount, and I was ready to finalize the deal. However, they suddenly informed me that the car had been sold, even though less than half a day had passed. Later, they admitted it was a mistake and urged me to come back. When I returned, they reneged on the original offer and only gave me a $250 discount instead. Two days later, I emailed again, prepared with insurance and a check, but just as I was about to leave for the dealership, they told me the car had been sold again. This experience has made it clear that this company cannot be trusted. Be cautious when dealing with them.

Upon arrival at my scheduled appointment, I was told to change ONE tire it was a 2 hour wait even with the scheduled appointment. It's been an hour and a half and my vehicle is apparently still not even in the shop to be worked on due to "the line of vehicles ahead." Sounds like poor time management and scheduling on their end. Would not recommend any type of service at this incompetent dealership.
Update - it took almost 3 hours. Granted they fixed a recall "that shouldn't add any more time" and did wash the vehicle. 3 hours is still ridiculous. Do better.

Initially, they offered me a fair trade-in value for my vehicle based on the Kelly Blue Book estimate they sent me online. However, when I arrived, they told me the initial offer was an error and had to be reduced. Additionally, they attempted to add $3,500 in extras that I had not agreed to. This lack of transparency and professionalism was very disappointing. I hope they improve their communication and customer service in the future.

But at that time, the other company did not have the white interior. And the car seller told me to put down a deposit of $500 to keep the car with the white interior and would let me receive the car tomorrow. But tomorrow the car seller said that I do not have the white interior now, so he suggested another car, but I did not like it at all because I only like the white interior. And I did not buy it because they did not have the white interior. So I asked the seller to return my deposit, but they kept going around and suggested other cars that I did not like. And I still have not returned my deposit. I am quite disappointed with the company's behavior.

🚗 VIN: KNDADFS51R6028906
⚠️ Ongoing Safety Concern with My New Kia EV9
My Kia EV9, purchased in July 2024 from Kia of McKinney, has now been sitting at Kia of Frisco for over 35 days due to a wheel alignment issue — and yet, the issue remains unresolved.
I’ve had to replace the rear tires THREE times in just 11 months due to aggressive misalignment — a situation that’s not only frustrating but dangerous.
📅 Timeline of Tire Replacements & Service:
📌 July 2024 – Car delivered with new rear tires (Odometer: 300+ miles)
📌 March 2025 – Kia of Frisco replaced both rear tires (one bent inward)
📌 May 2025 – Kia of Frisco replaced both rear tires again; alignment was at –1.6°
📌 May 29, 2025 – I left my car at Kia of Frisco for alignment correction
📌 July 1, 2025 – Car returned with alignment reading –1.4°
📌 July 2, 2025 – Rechecked at Firestone & Kia of McKinney: alignment now –1.5° (after just 30 miles of driving)
❗ Serious Concerns:
🔧 Alignment slipped from –1.4° to –1.5° within 24 hours — this is alarming
💥 At –1.6°, tires were destroyed in under 2 months
🚨 If Kia insists I accept a car with –1.5°,
➡️ Will Kia cover new tires every few months?
➡️ Who takes accountability if a blowout or road hazard occurs?
🎯 My Simple Request to Kia:
✅ The car is under warranty (less than 12 months / under 12,000 miles)
✅ Both Kia of Frisco and Kia of McKinney have acknowledged that the alignment cannot be corrected beyond –1.4° without replacing parts
🛠️ I’m respectfully requesting Kia to replace the alignment-related part(s) so the vehicle can be brought within safe manufacturer specifications
📣 I’ve Tried to Resolve This Privately:
📬 Emailed Kia customer care — No resolution
📞 Called service advisors — Sent to voicemail
📢 Reached out on social media — No one has taken ownership
I never wanted to escalate this publicly — but silence is not a solution. I truly hope someone within Kia sees this and chooses to act before this becomes a larger safety issue.
🙏 I am not asking for anything outside of what is fair under warranty — only for Kia to stand by its product and prioritize safety.

I purchased a car here, and the sales process was great. However, the experience with the service center has been the worst.
When I brought the car in for service, the headliner was damaged due to mishandling. Worse yet, no one informed me—I discovered the damage myself after returning home, twice.
When I went back for correction, they installed a button on the one of the damaged area without my consent, and even placed another button on the opposite, undamaged side. Then they told me the car was ready with no explanation.
They made changes and caused damage without any prior approval, and I never received an apology or explanation. To make matters worse, they charged me $259 during the second visit, which I had to dispute and resolve myself.
For a month, there was no follow-up, no accountability. Only yesterday was I finally able to speak with someone and find a possible solution.
I’ll be watching closely until this issue is fully resolved. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience with the service center's lack of communication and transparency.
Worst service ever

BAIT AND SWITCH AT IT'S BEST.
These people have no idea what they are doing and I had a terrible experience with them trying to purchase a new car.
Their prices are completely different then the online price, no where even close and they come up with different lame excuses about how it's not with taxes etc.
I sat down with a salesperson (can't recall his name but was of Asian ethnicity), we test drove 2 cars the Sorento and the Telluride. He goes over all the details with me and tells me he can get my the Sorento S line (2nd highest trim) for $670. After spending 3 hours shopping through everything, I said lets go and confirm, he comes back to me and says oh no the price is actually $750 per month. HOW DO YOU HAVE A $80 JUMP after all our conversation and time spent? he carries on to argue and when I get his manager, they are saying it's not POSSIBLE to get the 2nd highest trim at even $720 as they would be losing thousands of dollars on it. Where is the sense of customer service? Where is the sense of quoting the right price? I had my wife and kids there waiting for 3 hours and we walked out without a car, and it seemed like they were actually happy about.
HERE IS THE KICKER:
Next morning, I woke up and called KIA Mckinney and spoke to Martin, who is AMAZING, he gave me a deal that blows them out of the water.
I got the highest trim KIA SX LINE PRESTIGE, FOR $698 FOLKS. Something they were quoting me $810 for.
There can't be that much of a difference between dealerships but this goes to show these people don't care about their customers and are just trying to bait in their clients and switch the price on them last min to make them just say fine lets just do it.
I am so glad I didn't continue with them because everyone including the manager is just looking to try and make money and literally steal money out of their pockets.
Why I’m Leaving a 1-Star Review:
1. Bait-and-Switch Pricing – Kia Frisco quoted one price, then raised it by almost 30%. This is a clear example of deceptive pricing tactics.
2. Wasted My Time – I spent over three hours at the dealership only to have the agreed deal completely change leaving my family and myself with such a bad taste in our mouth.
3. Lack of Professionalism – Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they didn't apologize once or even care that they messed up our experience with Kia.
Texas law prohibits bait-and-switch tactics, where a dealer advertises one price but dramatically increases it later.
I do not recommend Kia Frisco to ANYONE, but be sure to check to visit KIA Mckinney and ask for Martin! He's truly a champ at what he does!

He was a larger… Our salesman Joon was great! Very informative and very polite with an extremely warm aura and soft smile! Honestly what made me rate 2 stars was the terribly rude finical advisor. He was a larger white man using scare tactics to push us into paying more insurance for the car. And when we only wanted to get just the minimum package of insurance he claimed that it didn’t even cover what it said it could. When we finally confirmed the insurance and he returned with the last papers finalizing our purchase the monthly payment was higher then originally negotiated. When pressed about why it was higher he claimed there was “hidden fees”. Why would the “hidden fees” not be written out on the finalized contract? When we asked this and added up all the numbers he couldn’t give us an answer but went to the back to “discuss” with the managers. When he returned the “hidden fees” magically disappeared and didn’t need to be paid for. All I’m saying is if you go to this KIA be careful of this man as he will try to sneak more money from you and when your making large purchases such as $35,000 you don’t deserve to be paying extra “hidden fees” that this man likes to include, but when asked about it can magically disappear.
Worst experience ever , I have purchased 5 brand new Kia’s , none w a issue until this experience
I will never return for any service or purchase again
Customer lost forever

Disappointing First Service Experience – Won’t Be Returning
I visited KIA Frisco today for my first service on 2025 Kia Sorento at 8,000 miles, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
From the moment I spoke with the service advisor, I felt my concerns were dismissed. I explained multiple times that my issue was with the A/C not blowing cool air at levels 1 and 2, only functioning properly at levels 3 and 4. Instead of listening, the advisor insisted I should “always run the A/C at level 4.” This response was not only unhelpful but also felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Further, I have to leave my vehicle at the dealership for 4 days for diagnostics.
When it came time for the courtesy ride, things only got worse. The advisor told us to wait outside in the Texas heat (in June, no less) for the rideshare. When I asked where the waiting room was, he vaguely pointed and said it was “to the right,” but repeated that the ride would pick us up outside. Again, his tone and attitude made me feel like I was an inconvenience.
At checkout, I inquired if there were any first-time service promotions. He simply said, “I don’t know any,” and told me to check the website myself. I did just that and found a 25% off oil change promotion for new customers. After I mentioned it, he applied the discount—without asking for a code—clearly aware of the promotion all along. His reluctance and demeanor made it feel as though giving me the discount was a personal loss for him.
Overall, the service advisor’s attitude and lack of customer focus made this a truly unpleasant experience. I expected a far better level of professionalism, especially at a KIA’s dealership representing a major brand in Frisco. I do not plan to return and will gladly take my business to a different location—even if it means driving farther.

I recently purchased a 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid from Kia of Frisco on Thursday, June 5th, with the promise of it being delivered the next day. However, the delivery was delayed by four days, arriving the following Monday.
Upon receiving the car, I noticed it was missing the factory protective plastic coverings typically found on new vehicles. The car had already accumulated over 240 miles and showed signs of wear, including noticeable scratches.
Additionally, the salesperson Jacob was not very supportive after the sale. I was expecting a follow-up call regarding some details, but I never received it. Besides the Financial Assistant was very ironic during the financing process just because I didn’t want all his extra service packages offered by the dealership.
Overall, my experience with Kia of Frisco was disappointing. I hope the dealership can improve their delivery and customer service processes for future customers.

I purchased a used 2022 Hyundai Sonata from Kia Frisco in December 2024. Within just three months, the check engine light came on. I had it serviced at a Hyundai dealership, and although the issue appeared to be fixed at the time, the same problem has returned again.
This has been a frustrating experience—especially considering the car was barely a few months in my possession. While I understand it was a used vehicle, I expected it to be in reliable condition, especially from a large dealership like Kia Frisco. The recurring issue raises concerns about the quality of their pre-sale inspections and overall vehicle condition.
I hope Kia Frisco stands by their sales and offers some resolution or support. I wouldn’t recommend buying a used car from here without a thorough independent inspection first

Worst mistake purchasing a vehicle was choosing Kia of Frisco.
I had an issue immediately after purchasing (all paperwork signed), to having to abort my service appointment and take it to a different dealership. A problem on my 2024 KIA Sorento (less than 16000 miles) was going to take three days before it could be checked out with a diagnostic hookup.
After having to leave work to pickup my vehicle, which had been sitting on the Kia Frisco lot for almost two days waiting to find out what repairs the car needed, I got the car to a different Kia dealer and got a diagnostic report, repairs, and my vehicle back home within less than one day!
The cherry on top was when I received a text this morning asking if I was happy with my recent repairs and service at Kia Frisco.
Obviously auto generated, fake costumer service

Sold unnecessary evaporator core cleaning even with a new air filter. Don't trust the dealership in what services they recommend. Will look for such unnecessary upsells

I handed over the car keys and waited at the service center. After about 30 minutes, I received a message saying the car was ready for pickup. When I asked what services were completed, I was told only the oil change was done. I was told that the person I spoke to earlier had gone to lunch, was unavailable, and that it would take more than an hour for him to return — followed by, “Here is your bill.” This is extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Poor communication, poor service, and zero accountability. Never visiting this service center again.

It was closing time by the time we got our car and they didn't do the best job getting the car finalized/lots of stickers still on the inside but it was dark. Then they left it parked forward in the bay with multiple cars around, my wife had to back it out carefully with no one really helping guide her out even though lots of workers were walking around.

I asked him several times and he kept telling me it was all good. I didn’t need the car that day but agreed because he told me it would be ready. Not cool and very unprofessional. Just another salesman that is untrustworthy. I asked for a gift card or fruit basket when I pick it 4 days later and he was like … I wish I could. Like bro, come on. Aj was sketch, hunter from finance was good

After the issue continued, it took significant effort on my part to get the dealership to acknowledge the repair was misdiagnosed. Communication was slow, and there was strong resistance to issuing a refund, even after their own diagnostics showed the original fix was unrelated. I eventually did receive a refund, but only after escalating the situation and threatening a credit card dispute. The issue itself is now being addressed under warranty, but the process to get there was far more difficult than it should have been.

I drove 60 miles to the dealer i bought my car from (where my appt was) to be told they didnt have the parts and I couldn't make another appointment. Service advisor barely spoke English and couldnt explain further into detail why they made my appointment in the first place. They also tried to sell me my car that had hail damage on it repaired before I bought it in the port of Houston. Luckily I do PDR so I could tell their hack job from a mile away. Slimey dealer, BAD service, and abysmal customer service! Also took 6months to get a check from financial for a tow due to the lack of a spare tire in the car. Kia rebrand pretty cool, kia service ETC.... YIKES

Didn't really feel like I was getting a consultative approach or anything. Wasn't asked why I was in the market for a car, etc. When I got to financing, the woman I worked with pushed HARD to get me to get more warranties until I eventually said 'I don't know how else to say this, I don't want any of that' So I love the car, but the customer experience was about what people's impressions are of car dealerships.

Had to pay several toes to get there only to find out they could not service my vehicle. I bought two cars from Kia Of Frisco and every time there was an issue their service department refuses to serve the clients. Very frustrating.
Inefficient and careless people handling cars. My car ran out of gas and had to wait at the dealership for 2 hours just to take the delivery after all the paperwork were done.

Hunain was hellbent on including additional services,as was the Finance Manager. I'm sure those initiatives are quite profitable and they're incentivized heavily to upsell, but it was relentless and exhausting.

Brought the car home, found that it wasn't fixed and had to wait to bring it back in. Finally, a new door latch was ordered and installed the following week. An extremely frustrating experience especially since it was the 4th time we had to bring the car in for the issue.

However, in two days after service, my car totally turned off and called AAA and they found the issue being loose battery connection. After fixing the issue, I haven't had ESC since then. This is basic check and failed to perform the basic check. Not happy with service.
Was not truthful, said tech could not hear problem but when I arrived to dealership, DJ was able to hear the issue with me.
Last service time they booked uber for pick up. This time Craig said no uber even though my house was just 6 miles away.

I requested for tire rotation, but it was not recommended as front tires are bad. During invoice, at first I was billed for tire rotation, I have gone through the invoice and pointed out. The charges were later removed and new invoice was drafted . I can understand that Peter was in hurry due to Christmas Eve .All good till this point. Things started to take different turn when I have turned in my vehicle for recall part today on December 31st. During complimentary inspection, I have again recommended to get the drive belt and evaporator core cleaning .. But these inspections elements have been already done on 24th of December. So , now I can infer that the complimentary inspection elements what Kia is providing is not genuine. Further at first odometer is not adjusted as it still shows that the service is due , even though service has been completed on Dec 24th. I have taken this issue with Peter where he asked someone to fix it. Finally u guys are loosing a customer .. Thanks for all your time

Sat on hold for 45 minutes to hen hung up on. Was given inaccurate details about price online and over the phone. Had to drive home on 4 flat tires on a brand new car.
No rides, wrong MPI, didn't explain issues properly No curtesy ride to home after car drop off

I called the Kia dealership in Frisco no one answers the phone for the service department it's all automated. I left a voicemail message and text message for Mario and I did not get any reply back.
Awful. . literally the worst dealership experience I've had in 42yrs of life. It was pathetic
No spare car or uber service given. I was made to wait for 1.5 hours

I called to make an appointment and asked them if they have any complimentary shuttle drop off service. I was told they have none! After making an appointment, I was then told at the end that they in fact do have complimentary drop off Uber service as long as drop off location is within 10 miles. Why was I not told about this when I asked earlier? Was it because I said "shuttle" and not asked in general? I have no idea but was very weird. My car drop off experience was good. My service advisor was efficient, friendly, and professional. My drop off was arranged through Uber and was told to wait for the text message/call when my car is ready for pickup. While waiting at home, I got a slate of work orders that was required on my car other than the recall. One of them was a rear brakes replacement. Due to outrageous dealer's pricing I denied all of them and just confirmed the work order for the recall. I got a text within 2 hours about my car ready to go home and I went by myself to pickup my car. I went to my service advisor's desk and he was not there. There were 2 other advisors who saw me but didn't say anything and continued with their work. Finally after standing for about 10 minutes one of the advisors asked me if I am being help or not. I told him about waiting for my service advisor. I was only then told that he went home and what is it that I needed! This was so disappointing as why my service advisor didn't tell me about asking for help from anyone once arrived since he will be gone by the time I come? Also, why it took 10 minutes for the other advisor to finally ask me about my intentions while I clearly walked in in-front of him and he saw me started to wait at an empty desk? Again extremely poor, lazy, and an unprofessional customer service. Later that week I took tires off to check the brakes as I was not hearing or feeling anything wearing out from the rear. Turns out brake pads on both sides were nice and good and there was absolutely no need to change anything! Why was I told about the rear brakes replacement and that its current conditions so poor then? Was it to just make extra money out of me since they had to fix my car for free due to a recall? I have no idea what the true intentions were. After this I had no idea whether to believe on their other replacement recommendations or not and I just left everything as-is. I hope they fixed recall as they claimed. Service department definitely needs some basic customer service training. After my this first time experience I am not sure if I will go back or recommend this place to anyone or not.

He was 30 minutes late for an appointment, took personal calls during the the first test drive, and then was yawning loudly on another test drive. He would also make comments such as "I will only get that answer for you if you are really going to buy because other customers walked out after I spent so much time" or "I had to stay late last night and they didn't even end up buying." I was willing to overlook these things as he seemed decent enough to continue the process. However, as soon as we sat down to talk numbers, he became rude, even cracking his knuckles at one point. He combatively said "then this too much car for you" and "above your budget" but then after insisting he ask the manger, he finally walked his lazy behind across the room and the manager, Kyle Winn, agreed to my price without any issue. During the final test drive of the color and trim I wanted, the acceleration was making a strange noise. I asked for the mechanics to do a diagnosis so I would feel more comfortable knowing the issue, and Kevin Kidney said it would take too long. I asked when the next color and trim would be in the incoming inventory, and he said he didn't know. So then I asked if they could locate another color and trim from another dealership, in which he did but then he tried to pressure to me pay the full price before I even test drove it, weaponizing the fact that I was going to pay full in cash. But thankfully, the much more supportive and reasonable manager, Kyle Winn, only had me put down a deposit. Before I even test drove the car or signed any paperwork for the deposit, Kevin Kidney told me to be sure to fill out the survey so he can get his $2,000 bonus. At this point, we had been waiting for 7 hours, revealing how unorganized Kevin Kidney is, acting dodgey whenever I asked for an update, always starting with the impatient phrase "Like I already said..." when he was answering a question. He would instruct me to email information to his personal email address, rather than his work email, and would tell me to sign a random line he drew on a piece of scratch paper, saying that supposedly his manager wanted that as a legality, even pressuring me to still buy the car we test drove with the strange noise so we wouldn't have to stay waiting any longer. Finally the finance person came with the paperwork. I can't remember his name, but he was a fast talker, pulling away each paper quickly before I was even done initialing. When I noticed that the form said it was a $9,000 rebate rather than the $7,000 - they did not honor their "mistake" and said it was a "typo." I asked for copies of all the paperwork and Kevin Kidney said "there is personal information that we can't release" and that it would be emailed to me later. But isn't the personal information literally MY PERSONAL info? After going home and researching reviews on the acceleration noise and reflecting on these encounters at this dealership, I was not feeling comfortable. I kept calling and emailing, asking for the mechanics diagnosis on the noise and for copies of the paperwork - only more sketchy responses and unclear excuses. I finally got Kevin Kidney on the phone and told him to cancel my order and that I no longer wanted the car. He let out a loud annoying sigh noise. He said he would ask the manager tomorrow when he had time, but I insisted he talk to Kyle Winn immediately and issue me a refund. I was told the manager approved it, but it took several phone calls, and then finally CCing the manger on emails to get the refund. I had a positive experience with the manager Kyle Winn and all the other small encounters with other employees were fine at this location, but I would stay away form Kevin Kidney. He is selfish, untrustworthy, and lacks professional people skills.

The purchasing process was smooth, and the sales team was helpful and professional, making the car-buying experience pleasant. However, my opinion has since changed after my first experience with the service department, which has been very disappointing. Shortly after purchasing the car, I encountered a recurring issue with the AC system. Every morning, a strong moldy smell would come from the vents for about 10 seconds when I started the vehicle. I took the car in for service, and they performed an AC system cleaning twice, but unfortunately, the issue returned within a few days each time. This week, I returned to Kia of Frisco for the third time to resolve the issue. Arriving there, on Monday, September 23rd, I was given two options: wait while they cleaned the AC system again for the 3rd time or leave the car for a more thorough assessment, which would take a few days. Since I wanted to resolve the problem once and for all, I left the car with them. I followed up with the dealership on Tuesday and early Wednesday and was repeatedly told that a technician was still working on the car. However, using the Kia Connect app, I could see that the car had not been moved from the parking lot and remained in the same spot for three days. The car was even parked so closely that it was touching the bumper of the car behind it. After discussing the situation the service manager, I was told that they would open a case with KIA and the only option that was give me was pick up the car without any actual work being done. The service invoice I received claims that an inspection was completed and that the AC filter was replaced, both of these claims are inaccurate. I know this because of the attached pictures and in the first visit I was told that I would have to pay for the Cabin Filter, which I had purchased and installed a new filter myself. To make matters worse, the dealership could not provide me with a case number for the KIA case they supposedly opened. As a parent of four children, including twin babies, I am highly concerned about the health risks associated with this unresolved AC Mold issue and am incredibly frustrated with the lack of transparency from the dealership. At this point, I am waiting for KIA to review the case and provide a possible resolution. If this case resolves my problem, I will certainly post an update to this review to reflect that outcome.

You have to have key on your person to lock the car from outside on the door handle which was not explained to me. And when we switched drivers, I drove off without a problem but couldn't turn the car off - without getting back inside to shut it off and turn it back on with my key - how stupid is that?? But the thing that drives us nuts is when you get back in the car a fan is blowing. I've written a three (3) page paper detailing when it happens - the service manager said he would discuss this when he goes to weekly meetings cause he's never heard of this. Guess what we found on internet - it's been going on for several years with this make/model and others are not happy with it. Needless to say - I've never heard back from him or our sales person - who I also contacted by email. If this is a programed in feature you'd think somebody would have call to explain that this is what is suppose to take place. I will not be taking the car there for service when it's needed and we will not be recommending this car or dealership to anyone because of the non-reply from the staff. I also realized that we were not offered the 1.9% interest rate that was being offered on "select" Sportages when we bought the car. Maybe there was only 5 "select cars" on the lot which is sad bait and switch type of advertising. If we had that interest rate we would have kept the loan and not paid it in full within the 1st 30 days.

My experience was not what I had hoped. I dropped my car off 6/18- Tuesday morning and was originally told the diagnostic would be done by Thursday. I received no communication on Thursday so I called the dealership on Friday. I was told my car would be looked at first thing Saturday -the manager stated this to me. There was no communication provided to me on 6/22 Saturday so I called them around 3 PM and asked if my car had been looked at yet, it had not and I was told it would be looked at first thing Monday morning 7 AM per the manager. I was also told that once a diagnostic was completed, I could potentially receive a loaner vehicle. Monday morning came came and I still had not received a phone call. I called the dealership about 10 o’clock and asked for an update. My car had not been looked at as promised at 7 AM and was told it was on the docket (now at 10am) and I should receive a callback by noon. All of that was very frustrating as I kept being told My car would be looked at, and it continued to not be. On Monday I received a phone call around noon and was told that the part that was broken was needing to be ordered and I could come pick up my car and that the order part should take 3 to 4 days to come in. The part arrived on Thursday afternoon as I was the one to call the parts department at the dealership to seek an update. I did not receive confirmation from the dealership until Saturday morning that it had come in.
I even called on Friday and asked to speak to a manager in hopes that I could bring my car in Saturday to have the part replaced. The manager never called me back and I left two messages. This was very frustrating because had I been called on Thursday. I could’ve brought my car Friday or Saturday to be fixed. The following Monday, I brought my car in at 8 AM and spent the day there waiting for the car to be fixed. On Wednesday, I reached out to the dealership because the car was making the same noise. I was asked to bringit today Friday, July 5. I asked the person who had been assisting me if a loaner vehicle was possible so I did not have to wait all day for my car to be looked at a second time - he told me your dealership does not do loaner vehicles, which seemed odd to me because the manager made it seem like I could be provided a loaner vehicle the week prior. While waiting for my car to be looked at today- I saw my car was parked, and so I reached out to the person servicing my car and asked if everything was completed he had told me it was and when I went to the desk, his statement was oh I didn’t know you were waiting. Had he looked at my paperwork he would’ve seen that I was waiting for my vehicle to finish being serviced. Overall this was a long process. Communication was not where it needed to be, and I feel that my car was not worked on in a timely manner.

While they have my money, I've noticed that the vehicle they told me they could no longer sell me is back on their website for sale.

Since we did not have an appointment verbiage was thrown around about how they will have to bounce back and forth between their appointments and us. They said they only had one vehicle on their lot that we were looking for when in fact they had 8 and we ended up being shown six of those 8. They were unwilling to make a deal and offered us 6k under what KBB and other dealers had offered us for our car. Supposedly because they don’t mark up their used vehicles(which was the funniest of all the lies we heard) There is a lot of show boating/gloating going on here. Do not waste your time! We drove over to another Kia dealership in the area and walked out with exactly what we wanted!

I finally was able to get ahold of a sales manager and he got me in touch with the internet sales person named Kevin who said on multiple occasions that he would get back with me on my interest in buying a used car from the dealership. He never returned my calls or email messages. I heard back from "Brandi Moore" several times via email. "She" said she would get a sales person to contact me, but no one ever did. It turns out the Brandi (although the the sales manger said she was "upstairs" when I finally came to the dealership to look at the car I was interested in) is actual an Artificial Intelligence system that responds to customer's emails. Once my loan was approved from my Credit Union, I was given a "Lien Draft letter" to let the dealership know that my Credit Union would be sending them a check. I sent a copy of my Lien Letter, Proof of Insurance, and Divers Licenses to Kevin (the internet salesman) via text. When I asked if he received the documents, he never replied. When I arrived at the dealership to purchase the used vehicle, the sales manager told me that they do not accept lien letters! After becoming angry and frustrated and explaining all the troubles I had experienced up to this point, the sales manager (Mr. Wynn) said they would make an exception and accept the lien letter. I put a code reader in the car and there were no errors. I test drove the car in the parking lot and it appeared to run well. On my way home, several warning lights came on - traction control, engine power reduction, needing an oil change, and overheating. I tried to get to the next gas station, however, the car stopped running. When I tried to start the car up, the engine had "seized up" and would not longer start/run. DO NOT buy a used car from this dealership.

I took my daughters Kia Soul to get an oil change and any maintenance needed done. When I picked it up they gave me the checkup sheet that showed it didn't need any extra work. I reviewed the sheet and noticed it had a section for body damage. My daughter's car had her driver's door hit and had very visible damage. I realized they probably didn't do the check on the car at that point but at least they did the oil change. Two months later I get a call from my daughter at college saying her car check engine light and oil pressure light suddenly came on and the car died just as she got it to the side of the road. We had it towed to a Kia dealership near her to see what happened. That dealership reported that the oil plug fell out and drained the oil causing a catastrophic failure to the engine. They said the only way an oil plug to fall out is for it to be installed incorrectly or not tight enough. Kia of Frisco was the last one to touch the oil plug. Avoid them at all costs! I would give them zero stars if I could.

Communication on financing, availability, processing, and every other step of the car buying process from this dealership can be summarized in one word: Shady. Began communications with this dealership over interest in a Certified Pre-Owned 2022 Kia K5 LXS on 9/13/23. Here's my experience:
- Poor explanations of what being a "Certified Pre-Owned" vs. "Used" car means in the eyes of Kia. Led to believe that the CPO warranties advertised by Kia were included in the sticker price of the vehicle - spoiler, they aren't, and are actually a ~$2000 additional charge.
- At dealership visit on 9/13, although the staff was friendly, I was told several times that the car was not on the lot so they could upsell me a more expensive used K5 (tried to push 2 different GT Line models) or a brand new K5. It took over 2 hours for them to relent and find the car I came to see, the car I called about, the one I made a specific appointment to test drive
The vehicle was listed as a CPO on the website; on 9/19/2023 when I was ready to purchase, I began a series of calls with my agent, first asking if the car was still available. I was told that the car was there, but had not passed any inspections yet and that I'd have to wait 24 hours for this "CPO" status to even be approved. Why was it listed as such in the first place?
- Several efforts were made to add additional warranties, features, and products to the sale of the car, despite my clear communication that I was paying cash. Told that I must consider financing the vehicle despite clearly saying it was not an option. Also, in calls on 9/19, I was repeatedly told that the finance department would call me to talk about payment options, and that I would need to provide information to set up financing (which I would not need). The department never called.
- My agent wanted me to put money down before the car even passed "inspection" to be a certified pre-owned. Is that even legal? Judging from the experience of several other reviewers, I am very glad that I did not do this.
- After several back-and-forth calls with my sales agent, Charlie, ranging from 10am to 4pm, our final call began with him informing me that the car had already been sold, 2 days prior. Why even go through the effort to talk about inspections, financing, payment, and additional warranties/products, when you did not bother to check if the car was still there? I feel very lied to, like a whole day of my time was wasted, and like I narrowly evaded a scam (as seen in other reviews). Avoid this dealership. Their online inventory is not accurate, they probably don't have the cars you're looking at, and they will upsell you in every way they can. I am just glad I never got to a point where money exchanged hands.

Not the best experience I’ve had so far. The car on the website was supposed to be a certified pre-owned vehicle (turns out it had not yet been through the inspection to be considered certified) and I have yet to get possession of it, it has been "in service" questioning myself on this purchase. I feel like I am getting nowhere. Yes, they offered a rental car on the 6th day (today) of my vehicle being in service.
So far, I’ve been told that they had to order new parts for this car:
Tire sensors
New Alternator
New battery
New seat belts???? Though the car was ready to be driven off the lot, turns out not so much. I am greatly displeased with this Kia Brandon Thomas ( he wasn’t even our sales advisor) tried to force us to purchase the "packages" they offer stating that we had to purchase them after going back and forth finally the “GM” was able to take them off Why did we have to go through all of that not sure?
UPDATE: 07/10/23 7:57pm
Wanted to get more info on what is going on with the car and when will it be ready. Was unable to.
Spoke to a Michael Rodriguez
1st stated that we could not unwind the contract and that he needed to gather more information.
Once he stepped away and came back stated that he could cancel after all and that it was done.
Just like that and stated that I’ll get my check of $ 7,000 in 7 to 10 days that I put down for the car.
Like what???!!! They did not have to wait that long for me to hand them that check.
I would like it in writing that the contract is no longer a valid one along with the check.
We agreed that nothing is to be done today until tomorrow when I can get that in writing along with my check. .... we walked out on that note.
Received a call at 8:39 PM
From Michael Rodriguez wanting for me to authorize the cancelation of the contract so that he may start the process, again I stated that I would prefer to do it where when he cancels I can receive it in writing that it is cancelled along with my check.
So as of now, we agreed that all will be processed tomorrow. Let's pray and hope they keep their word.
All I wanted was a car though I had found it sorry Chris YOU were great your coworkers not so much.
Brandon Thomas’s conversation did not include you yet you hoovering over trying to eavesdrop on our conversation?? Why again? (You started this sour experience)
Smh this Kia does not represent kia well.
9th day was told car will be ready tomorrow
Received a call not long after to be informed that they were installing the alternator (one in which i was told had already been installed and the only thing pending was seatbelts) so now it needs a new Engine!
Aahh! im so tired what is really going on Kia?
And I have yet to get a loaner car. How is this vehicle on your website for sale? when this is the car I "purchased" @3:49pm
I literally just spoke to Ray Bellamine and agreed to cancel the purchase, how is it on the website before we had this conversation?
They have yet to repair the vehicle
Stay away from this car and dealership all together if you can.
The audacity they dont care about our safety nor us as the consumer.
Will be reporting them.
We as the consumer need to make sure they are held responsible for their actions.
How do you sale vehicle and they haven't gone through the state inspection?

Regarding the check i deposited of 7000 will have to wait for 7 to 10 days?
And nothing in writting stating that it got canceled, i asked them not to change anything until its in writing and check in my hand. I pray this gets better seeing as im still in this binding contract and yet to have a car in my possession. What can be done?
6th day today. No car no clear update on when the car will be ready, is it because i purchased a used vehicle?
Update: Kia of Frisco has deleted my Google Review! They know they did wrong this is past the real issue here.
You may hate my kind you were willing to put my family's safety at risk!
How do you sale vehicles and they have not been fully processed?
They have out the car back on the website remember i purchase this vehicle. Why did they put it back up, they did everything jerked me around for 10 days after purchase telling me a plethora of things wrong with the car.
And it back up on the website for sale while it had been purchased?
Do not purchase the " Certified pre owned" ( it cant pass the inspection) 2018 Kia sorento L silver
67700 miles however they posted it at 67600
I have pictures of all of it.

I bought my car there next day. I still haven't heard from Kia of Frisco.

Got 2 texts confirming the appt. Drove 50 miles round trip and arrived on time for the appointment. Waited a few minutes and then was told the car wasn't there. No one took the time or consideration to tell me the car had been sold. I suspect that is was sold days before. The car is still up on their site too. They even have a sign in the lobby highlighting recognition for their great customer service. They just wanted to get me in the door to try sell me another car. Walked out the door and will never go back for a new or used car. There are lots of options in the Dallas market to buy a car so go somewhere else to buy.

I was promised a free car wash for a month and a free gas tank fill up and I never received neither. This kia dealership is very slow when it comes to buying a car or service. I was at the dealership for 8 hours just to buy a new car. I was charged $9,000 over msrp with all these add on like an app the turns on the car.
They never answered my request for the age of the tires on this car that I was interested in.

It's been fifteen days and they still haven't refunded my money. I left a review on another site and the manager who responded won't return by emails or calls. Don't give them any of your hard earned money. There are many reviews on Yelp and other sites where people are hard time getting their refundable money back.

I would not say that it was the smoothest of transactions, yes a bit of tomfoolery with the financing but all in all nothing worse than any other mid range dealership.I was at KIA of FRISCO last week for a routine oil change and Brendyn E. not only gave me a fair quote on my trade, he looked up the residual payment amount and sent stickers of the KIA Tellurides on their way. To note, this is all outside of his primary role at the dealership. Brendyn was awesome but then it all went sideways once the vehicles arrived and the salespeople took over.Cut to today and the 2027 KIA Tellurides hot off the delivery truck, and I mean rolling off minutes before we arrived. After 4 days of Dalaska and the end of the month approaching the sales department must have been itching to make the rent check so I received no less than 5 calls from different individuals trying to get to me to come in and take a look. Clearly, my purchase history and the fact that we had a pre-approved trade number put a big ole sucker sticker on my card in the company rolodex. After viewing a couple models and discussing the pros and cons we asked for the financing for the EX and SX lines knowing we would wait till the color choice we wanted (not brown) came in a few days later. We worked with Luke Knight and during our conversation, Luke informed us that the interest rates shown on the sheet provided financing were between 4-6%. They monthly rate seemed a little high even for the range and then we saw the 5k in dealer add-ons so we asked him to take the extras off to see where the payment would fall. While he went back to "talk to his manager" I realized he must have thought I was just an average everyday fool because I took a moment to review the numbers myself and I found that the actual rate reflected in the quote was over 10%. When I called him out on the numbers he tried to say that it was standard, even though we did not have the same experience with our last purchase less than a year ago.He blatantly lied to us and knew it. I am just glad we had no need to buy a car as the practices by Luke and his manager are beyond disgusting and borderline predatory lending. This discrepancy (but let's be honest it was a pure lie) between what we were verbally told and what was actually presented is very concerning. Accurate and transparent communication about financing terms is essential for anyone to make an informed decision, and this experience broke our trust with this dealership and we will be looking elsewhere to service our two KIAs in the future.Maybe management will learn that lies may make the salesperson a bonus but it will kill repeat business and the service department in the future.

My 850 credit score got me a 7.75% interest rate. Haha. What a joke. They try to screw you on the back end after negotiating "in good faith" on the front end. Look elsewhere.

I was welcomed by the finance manager (who I didn't know was) as I entered the building. Everyone was very nice and welcoming.I test drove the truck and made a decision to purchase the truck. This is where it gets really bad. Joon shared with the finance manager that I was pre approved with Bank of America and provided my interest rate/term AND my approval code for financing at 6.29% (which is very good in today's market) I was putting $10,000 down and have an 850+ credit score. When I got back to sign the papers, the finance manager tried to sell me on a 26.5% interest rate and tried to justify it to me!! I asked why he didn't use my pre-approved 6.29% and he replied they are not our preferred partners!!Being a finance professional and executive in a fortune 50 company who has work in a dealership in my younger life, let me explain what happens. You have a buy rate from banks who compete for your business. Rates vary based on term and credit but they usually all come back around the same. The finance manager tried to sell you a rate that can be significantly higher than your buy rate. In my case it was 20% higher than my buy rate which was $300 A MONTH MORE than what I should have paid. This equals $18,000 in interest MORE than I should have paid over the term. In return for selling you a higher rate, the bank pays a kickback of this $18,000 surplus to the finance manager proportional to how much they are over charging you. Everyone deserves the right to make a living. However the greed shown by Kia of Frisco is the worst I have seen in 30 years buying cars. Shame of the management for encouraging the fleecing of America.Bottom line. Know your credit and get pre approved from a lender BEFORE shopping. Know your credit options and do not let the finance department hold you hostage.

Only to hear that is not how appointments work and if I brought it back then I would still have to wait several days for it to be seen since the clock starts when it's dropped off. I was text Tuesday at 7am that my service tech wasn't in the office on Tuesdays but after he heard back his manager or the technician he would give me an update. But why are they making hourly employees work on their days off? If it's to create a personal relationship, it did the opposite because now I'm annoyed that someone not there and disconnected from the work is having to work on their days off off to give me an update. I got told Tuesday afternoon that they were checking for leaks. I called the next day another service advisors said there was no diagnoses yet, so don't believe they did the work Tuesday they were just stalling for time. But the second tech did follow up after someone had look at my car Wednesday afternoon. And finally got options of what was wrong Wednesday at 4pm, 4 1/2 days later. I didn't have any issue paying the high dealer price to work on my A/C but the the disrespect to one's time and having to Uber for that many days to work and do errands left a lasting impression.

My husband has put $1,200 in this since we have had it. We have taken it to different mechanics and no one can find out why the check engine light keeps staying on. It misfires and we have changed all new spark plugs, coil packs and a cord that was melted somewhere underneath the hood. Needless to say.. just now I noticed the coolant was getting low very fast. I put a whole gallon of coolant in and within a week I noticed their was barely any in the tank left. My oil change guy couldn't find where the coolant was going. It wasn't underneath the car. So I came across a you tube video that said with this type make and model this vehicle is known to suck coolant in cylinder 3 so I had my stepdad look inside each each cylinder with his borescope and sure enough we found coolant in the 3rd cylinder. Also, three of the spark plugs looked burnt on the ends and we literally replaced them not too long ago. So now we will either need a new engine which we don't have the money for and it's not even worth it at this point. We didn't do an extended warranty because it already had 100,000 miles on it when we bought it. They definitely sold us a lemon. My husband was just trying to do something nice for us and now we are down to one vehicle. We are a family of 3 and have a little 4 year old. I shouldn't have to put coolant in once a week nor do I have the money for that. This hurts my heart. Please dealership!! Y'all need to make this right. I will not be buying anything new either from this dealership!

VERY DISSATISFIED!!!
I've bought a Carnival here ar Kia Of Frisco in 2022.
Now i just got a new car and decided to sell my Carnival and CarMax gave me a quoted for 29k. I got a week from them to think about it, So when i finally have the time and decided to go ahead and sell my car, i've chosen Kia Of Frisco because it is closer for me and they willing to match the same deal with CarMax. When they took my car in, the seller helping me out his name was Sam, he was very nice with us and told us after we sold the car to them, they won't write us the check right away but i should expect to receive it with in a week. Unlike Carmax or Auto Nation i have sold my old car there before and i wrote me the check right away. Again i sold my Carnival here because it is more convenient for me on the way back home from work. So i said okay that is no problem. A week went by i have been so busy with work, so i didn't even care till the 10 days i was realized i didn't have it yet. So i contacted Sam ( the seller) he said let me check and then never get back at me, the next day i called him he didn't picked up. then later that day he texted me he ask for the name of the person should be on the check. Then i gave it to him. Again never heard back after i gave him the name. I called him later within about 2 days later Still no answer. Till today i think it is about close to 3 weeks now, i called him again and he finally checked for me and have his manager called me back and said we won't cut out the check till we get the title back from the bank, then they will give you a check. I mean all that would be okay if at least they are honest and transparent with me from the beginning, which they did not said that at all. I have never experienced anything like this for selling my used car and this dealer here definitely made me feel like i have been scammed. Will never do any business with them again.
I highly recommended anyone selling their old car. They should go to Carmax or Auto Nation...

I must say communication is not a priority at this dealership. I purchased a used 2015 Nissan Murano from this dealership on 3/2/2024. The check engine light came on the very next day. I had the code cleared because the issue was fairly minor in nature, which now seems to be what they did before they sold me the car. We asked if this car was going to be a problem, when they kept trying to sell us the extended warranty and the response was "We don't sell cars like that". And then he said "If it gives you trouble, just bring it back".
4/8/2024 the battery light starts flashing intermittently. 4/11/2024 the car dies as I was driving. Had the vehicle checked and was told the alternator was out. I called the dealership service department to express my concern and the response I got was basically, "what do you want us to do?"
After having to get the car repaired at my own expense (4/16/2024 AS IS Warranty, understood), on the evening of 4/26/2024 the car does the exact same thing, it dies in the middle of traffic. I then proceed to have the car towed back to the dealership to have them run diagnostics.
4/29/2024 I called the service department to check on the vehicle, and they didn't even know the vehicle was there. After a brief verification, I was told someone would contact me around 5/1/2024. Nothing. 5/2/2024 I call the service department only to find out that they don't even know where the key is. I call the towing company, they sent me pictures, I relayed what I was shown, still no key. So as of today, my car is still sitting where the tow truck driver dropped it almost two weeks ago.
I don't want trouble, I just want some type of resolution.

Besides that, I was definitely ripped off and they did the whole "switch the payment / interest rate" last minute. Now dealing with service it's awful. I go somewhere else but with warranty you need to first wait on hold for 20+ mins to see if your warranty is valid (which actually they didn't validate it... still waiting on that) just for them to take your car for "2-3 weeks" for diagnostics and they do not have loaners.I always go through my mechanic instead of using warranty because I'd rather pay someone else than use this place "for free" with your pricey extended warranty.I've bought from Mercedes McKinney, multiple TX Hyundai's and a TX Toyota, never in my life have I experienced such awful service. If you wanted a Kia like I regrettably have done, buy it somewhere else. You'll save yourself a few headaches and therapy trips.

All the way from the internet sales manager to the main sales manager. That's the culture that they create from the top. DISGUSTING.UPDATE: we just bought a brand new Kia from Huffines Kia in McKinney for a great price and best value for our trade too! And Huffines doesn't add stuff like tint, fabric protection, apps, to boost their MSRP. It was a clean and easy experience with Huffines. Go here instead.

Back at again to do a warranty fix on just my passenger light in the front near your feet.
I ordered the part a while ago. Got two text messages to come by and get it replaced. Last text was on Saturday and I set up an appointment the following Friday. I come by and the service employee cannot find the part. Takes like 20 mins to talk to service guys and says he cannot find it nor the order. I should have been smarter and asked for a paper trail of when I ordered the part first. Basically part was not found and came by and for 30 minutes to order another light again. This time I asked for a paper and got it and when it comes to the shop they will contact me and get it replaced. I wish to give it more stars but service is trash. I called the "service manager" went straight to voicemail. And when I ask for the service manager when I was there he was at recruiting event. Understandable. Next time I come I would like to talk to him and see if we can work out how to make there service better and more efficient. Seems like there is a disconnect between online services and the actual employees.

A competitor KIA dealership provided the same car but 2024 version. Much better experience without the attempt to stiff arm us for the upcharge. Same weekend. Shop around my friends. 1) The dealership tries to game the national KIA survey, and pressure you as a good, honest customer, by handing you a suggested sheet of answers with max scores and feeding you the BS line "If you don't give all max scores, we get no recognition". This is true for sales, service - everything I've encountered so far.
2) Lithia M. is a bot. The bot says to contact Daniel Stinson, but he does not have the guts to respond to your reviews in this public forum.
So say a repair - done well - takes 2 hours - pretty good, right? But the max answer is, "1 hour or less". So you think to yourself, "Well, I want to recognize a good repair, but do I really have to lie and say it was done under an hour for the technician to be recognized"?
I bought my car here. I liked my sales guy and would like for him to get visibility, but was he perfect? No. Do I have to give him all max scores for him to be recognized?
So the dealership doesn't want your honest survey answers and, instead, is trying to game the system with fake, all max scores. And they let a bot, Lithia M., rather than Daniel Stinson, answer your questions.
Would you patronize such a place?

My mother and I visited this dealership on Friday, October 5th to see a 2024 Kia Sportage SX. She had an appointment with Adam. Although Adam was nice, the experience was horrible. My mom has great credit and was ready to lease the vehicle that day. Adam came to us asking for over $600 per month before they checked her credit. Then they ran her credit and came back explaining that due to high interest rates Kia Finance could only get her to a little under $600 a month which we knew was absolute BS. My mom told Adam that she could do $565 a month or lower. The finance director came over and told her that they couldn't get any lower unless she gives them a down payment or chose a different trim line. My mom considered putting down $800 to get the monthly payment she desired but it was apparent that they weren't being as transparent as they claimed. It became very obvious that they weren't trying to do a deal. We decided to leave and visit the Kia dealership she bought a car from years ago (Central Kia Plano). Thankfully, we contacted Central Kia and they ordered the vehicle she wanted (2024 Kia Sportage SX Prestige). We went to Central Kia on Tuesday, October 10th and she leased the vehicle (in a higher trim line than the one at Kia of Frisco) for $0 down and $565 a month. The Central Kia experience was absolutely wonderful and fast!
I was planning to visit Kia of Frisco in the upcoming months to look into leasing a new vehicle, but I quickly realized that I would be better off going to another dealership!

The second day I drove off in it the car would shake when getting down on the brakes. So after weeks of trying to get in contact with them I finally talk with someone. Make a long story short. I had an appointment for 9:40 left at almost 4 o'clock that evening. Got in the car to leave the car was worse then when I brought it in for service. No help what so ever. Now I'm having to come out of pocket for something that's on them. What's going on with my vehicle is so unsafe. If I was you I would pass on this dealership.
I sent an email if they could schedule my Kia for airbag replacement (factory recall). Never received a reply.

Don't believe them if they tell you to go ahead and lease the car first (just to get the REBATE), then come back in a couple of weeks and buy the car for the "price you both agreed on." They are lying through their teeth. Came back today to buy the car for the "price we both agreed on", but more charges $ were added. That's not what we agreed too. Will not be dealing with this Kia in the future.

Wasted an afternoon running around with their nonsense. Try literally any other Kia dealership before these guys.

Apparently its a common practice for them to sale vehicles that have not gone through the process of being inspected!
Major safety issues!
I wrote a review on Google and was updating, now its been hidden. Because they know they did wrong. I Have the assistant general manager in a recording admitting to these wrong doings.
If you can help it please stay away. They pick and choose who they liked to respect and treat well if you dont fit their "image or criteria".
Started with a tire pressure sensor
Escalated to
Needing new tires
New battery
Filter's ..... turns out the vehicle had not gone through the 165 kia inspection and state inspection.
Needing a new alternator
Seatbelts!
Engine! Sir did you know that if you add a new engine that you would also need a new transmission?
Google review they deleted copied and pasted
Not the best experience I've had so far.
So far, I've been told that they had to order new parts for this car:
Tire sensors
New Alternator
New battery
New seat belts????
Though the car was ready to be driven off the lot, turns out not so much. I am greatly displeased with this Kia Brandon Thomas ( he wasn't even our sales advisor) tried to force us to purchase the "packages" they offer stating that we had to purchase them after going back and forth finally the "GM" was able to take them off Why did we have to go through all of that not sure?
UPDATE: 07/10/23 7:57pm
Wanted to get more info on what is going on with the car and when will it be ready. Was unable to.
Spoke to a Michael Rodriguez
1st stated that we could not unwind the contract and that he needed to gather more information.
Once he stepped away and came back stated that he could cancel after all and that it was done.
Just like that and stated that I'll get my check of $ 7,000 in 7 to 10 days that I put down for the car.
Brandon Thomas's conversation did not include you yet you hoovering over trying to eavesdrop on our conversation??
How is this vehicle on your website for sale? when this is the car I "purchased"
@3:49pm

My daughter and I walked into the Frisco Kia dealership. Daughter pushing my 2 year old granddaughter in a stroller, and me a 68 (F). After standing there for awhile we were approached and asked if we had an appointment. No, no appointment, but we wanted to look inside one of the cars outside. He responded that the car was locked but we were welcome to peak in.
Really, we could look through the darkened windows in 95 degree heat? I wonder how different the encounter would have gone if one of our husbands had been with us.
My daughter is going to another dealership as she absolutely will not purchase a vehicle from Kia Frisco. She is ready to buy with a very substantial down payment.
They give you a price then add all this extra stuff that you don't even want. They force you to get an aftermarket tracking device added to a vehicle you purchase.

Then I get a call, I am on the sales floor, and the Salesperson says they will come to me, several minutes pass, no one. Then I find out I was crossed off the wait list. Never again. I'll vote with my wallet and buy elsewhere. I should have listened to the other reviews, my fault.
Avoid this dealership. I bought a vehicle in December, and still have not received title or plates. They are ignoring my calls.

Bought a pre-owned car from this dealership, no complaints with the car. However, when we took delivery of it, Kia employees had put 120 more miles on it, had smoked in it A LOT with the windows rolled up, and the front windshield had a new ding in it. This all happened right around Christmas.
After many phone calls, emails, and going back there in person, no one ever called us back to schedule getting the windshield fixed like they said they would. Totally gave us the runaround. We got the windshield fixed elsewhere because we didn't trust Kia anymore. And we sure didn't want to leave it there with them again to joyride in! I would rate their customer service as extremely poor.

I can't register the vehicle without the title and it's not in the paperwork that I had. I've called everyday or every other day for about a month. I've left messages with Shirley, Simone, LeAnn, Sales department and Finance department and have yet to hear back. It seems like it's going to take an act of Congress to give me info on my title. This is has been the absolute worst experience I've had dealing with any company. The lack of communication and knowledge is atrocious!
Terrible service, waiting to look at vehicles, girl salesperson didn't know the options or differences.

The… I don't understand how they get away with such a deceptive pricing policy on their used vehicles. We went in to look at a used vehicle that was branded as certified preowned on their website. The listing price of the car was $20,402 and everything about the listing made it seem that that price included the car being certified. When we got to negotiation we were told that it was $1888 additional to be certified and it had to be certified. They also added an additional $500 for window tinting. This is a used car that already had tinted windows. How do they justify adding $500 additional for window tinting. The listing stated that low jack was included, however, they charge an additional $499 for the first year of low jack, which was not an option to pass. We wasted our time by going to look at a vehicle that was listed at $20,402 and was ultimately presented to us at $23,587. I just don't understand how they're legally able to be this deceptive.

They did the typical "talk to the manager" trick & wouldn't move, so my friend did the smart thing and walked away from these scheisters. Stay away!

I messaged Kia of Frisco today about trading in a $17,000 car that's paid off for a $32,000 car they have on their lot. On the message I sent they asked me how I would like to be contacted and I selected Text. Within minutes I had 3 texts and 2 phone calls. The responsiveness was good, but all of these people wanted to not answer my questions but rather to set up an appointment for me to come in.
I finally sent this text message to someone named Brandi Moore and someone named "Minna" who had texted me: "I'd like to have some preliminary numbers. This is a $ game after all and I want to know before I drive up there what y'all's price is. If you can't give me upfront numbers before I drive up there I don't want to do business with you. Thank you."
I received a response from Brandi Moore and it said "Thank you for informing me. I will notify my team." Then it included instructions on opting out of their text messages. I never heard from them again.
What's clear to me is this: they want to get people into the dealership where they can control the environment, they want to put people in shiny new cars to get them to fall in love then drop the hammer when it comes time to talk $. This is a common dealership tactic and honestly in 2023 I thought most dealerships had at least become more circumspect in the way they pulled this stuff. Apparently not, Kia of Frisco.

Sadly, they advertised a deal for one price but by the time they finished with all the f$!k you fees the car price went up 3500 not including TTL. I'm so contemplating filing with BBB and AG of Texas. This is the worst case of foot in the door technique I've ever seen. I did my homework and see this car has been on the lot since 10/22... that should have been a clue but I thought they may be eager to move the deal. Went on a test drive with the salesman what's the story with the car. He said people ask but later change their minds for another deal... so the deal shows on the website 46k... decent price but once they send you he numbers that roll in 3K in fees which included 500.00 for a tint fee... but the windows were not tinted! Then I said I will do that myself. I was told no... then they have all these outlandish fees for registration and I know how much it cost and wayyyyy over priced! If I could use the word "crooks" I would.... But I'm not. If I could say "predatory"... but I won't... I would love to say "underhand"... but I will just hold my words. But please watch your paperwork with these folks. False advertising I will truly say, yes. You get people interested only to force them to take fees that you don't state in your ads and I'm so disappointed in how these folks performed. I'm trying to see where else I can warm people and a teachable moment for other dealers with all of this hidden lies. In these tough time families and individuals are trying to work with what they have but to have people attempt to rob you with a smile isn't cool at all. I know you have to operate as a business but understand without customers you won't have a business. And it's sad that repos are rising because people are buying and not realizing that people are being predatory with the public. You can't have business when you ripping people off. Where is your integrity... where are your principles... in this economic climate folks have to purchase smart but it feels like all these dealer's especially this one try to put people at a deficit by gouging the public. do what you choose but I will pray for you while you prey on others. Just not cool

SUCH SCAMMERS . WASTE OF MY TIME & RESOURCES .. Someone needs to hold them accountable for false advertising. Should have read the reviews first , they are all horrible.

I don't want to purchase until I get my bonus ( which is February ) but as soon as they hear I'm not buying today, I get no response.
Maybe I should look at a different make?

The most unprofessional and dishonest dealership you will go to if you choose to waste your time here. Bought a used car the was practically brand new (only a couple thousand miles on it). After hours of them running my credit several times and coming back changing the deal 3 different times because of "fees and taxes" they didn't calculate the first two times. They sold me a car without giving me a title and a second key fobe. Because they "didn't have a second fobe" and still will not send another one. So now i can't even start my car and we're both missing work because of this situation. Still do not have a title after 3 months of only owning it. Also sold the car without it even being registered telling me I need to go to the sheriffs department to do a vin inspection. Do not purchase a Kia at this dealership. I wish I would've read some of these reviews before I went there.

Just do yourself a favor and go to one of the other Kia dealers in the area! Went in to see a used Sorento, and was given the run around about them not being able to find the keys for it but assured me the car was on the lot they just needed to get someone to bring it over to the service area. So I agreed to run the numbers in the mean time. Their up charges are ridiculous and had to get up and leave 3 times before they started to take off all the up charges for their add on services from the price. Then after we finally agreed on a price and they ran my credit 3 times and continued to give the run around about where the car was. The process continued until I had to sign documents at which point I explained I could not sign with out seeing the car and that is when they finally came clean. Turns out that car was never on the lot and was out being used as a loaner and they were still trying to go through with the signing process knowing that the entire time. So after 2.5 hours of them "looking for the keys" and listening to their lies about the car and the price all I got was a lower credit score from them running it 3 times. Working with car salesmen/managers is always a pain but this place takes the cake!

The McKinney location salesman tried to warn us, but Frisco was selling the 2022 Telluride and McKinney was on a freeze so we took our chances. We were told 3-6 months with a completely refundable deposit that could be returned to us in 1-3 business days no questions asked. Over 6 months of vague (and now we understand to be dishonest) communication, Kia no longer makes the 2022 Telluride and cancelled our order. The phone call to inform us was completely unprofessional, including laughing. Upon our request, they sent us the documentation we had to fill out to request our refund, which was stupid but still says 1-3 business days on their document. After we didn't receive the money or any response to submitting the documentation, we followed up and were told it would be weeks before our money is returned. Apparently it's hard to issue refunds for hundreds of customers after you screw them over! I understand the market is difficult right now - there's a difference between supply chain issues and dishonest communication while you hold peoples' money hostage. Unacceptable. Fraudulent.

The lack of communication with this dealership is unbelievable. We made an appt to look at a used suv we found online. This vehicle would be for our teen daughter going off to college. We went in on 8/15 to test drive the car. She loved the vehicle and we wanted to buy it, but wanted to take it to get a pre-purchase inspection prior. This was approved. And we even put $1000 deposit down to make sure they didn't sell it prior to us picking it up the next day for the inspection. We took it to a 3rd party mechanic who has done pre-purchase inspections for us in the past. This mechanic found over $3k worth of work that should be done on the vehicle asap... which included brakes and rotors. When we brought the vehicle back and discussed with the manager, he said he would have their mechanics take a look and let us know. He would not want to sell us the vehicle with these issues. We were supposed to hear back from our sales lady the next day. We did not. The following day (2 days later) we called, was not able to reach our sales lady, but left a msg with the receptionist. Still did not hear back. It wasn't until DAYS later with US calling back again and again, that we finally reached someone & was told that their mechanics found NOTHING wrong with the vehicle! Wow. Ok. Well, we aren't buying it, just refund our deposit please. They said they would text us a form to fill out for the refund. The form was texted (8/20) and it was the WRONG form... it was a credit card CHARGE authorization form. I brought it to their attention- they apologized and said they would send over the correct form in 10 minutes. They did not. It was 2 days later they sent the correct form (8/22). I printed it, filled it out and sent it back on 8/24). Followed up on Saturday 8/27, no response via text OR phone msg. Have yet to receive the $1000 refund & it's now 8/30.
I realize this was 'only' a $10,000 vehicle, but the lack of communication, the lack of response to msgs left AND texts. The slow response in refunded our $1000 deposit. And the fact they said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, when in fact a 3rd party mechanic said there were significant brake and rotor issues... is alarming. (and there were other issues too... but those were the major ones).
We will never be back and I warn anyone doing business with them-- proceed with caution!

We took it in and they fixed it by I believe gluing it back but in doing so they got a drop of glue on the console and didn't notice until we got back home an hour away.

Bought a used car 4 months ago. Decided to not get the extended warranty considering they advised they just put 6K worth of work in the car and did a full inspection. Fast forward to now and my compressor clutch for AC is broken in 2 pieces. (Which doesn't happen in 4 months). I called them and they have no integrity and are willing to do nothing about it.
Update - I have emailed the business owner who had advised to do so, and have heard nothing back. The lack of communication, management, understanding and customer service is so far gone.

Except now, at my first and last visit to Kia Frisco. I've literally never ever before encountered Kia crew members lacking such service mind as this crew. Not only could they not give a simple price quote on a new or used Kia or answer which cars they had in their available lot for sale and nor could they service my Telluride fully - they couldn't unlock the tires, said my tires were not Kia tires (which I literally bought and got with my new Telluride), couldn't sell me a new thing to unlock the tires ("it's not Kia tires" ?!?!) and could not call the Plano location to ask about it (Plano is where I bought this and my previous two new cars). I mean, seriously?!?! Well excuse me for trying to give you business. Sorry! DEFINITELY won't happen again. Next time I'll go back to the McKinney or Plano locations that stands for nothing but EXCELLENCE each and every visit. Oh btw, I reaaaally appreciate you not charging me for the tire rotation...considering you didn't do one. *smhlol*

This was without a doubt the worst car purchase experience of my life.
One of my nurses had try to purchase a car at this location but was told that the car, despite her having an appointment and them having her cell phone number, was not available and had been sold yet she was not notified.
the next day the car was still on the web site and had actually been decreased in price by $300. After investigating and also setting up an appointment receiving 4 text messages on my cell phone to confirm my appointment and a car availability. I then went with my nurse from downtown Dallas to Frisco Texas and was immediately greeted by a receptionist who was going to try to call the sales person who I was to have an appointment with. As she picked up the phone she was interrupted by someone who called himself a salesman. He then went on to say that the car had been sold and he recognized my nurse from the day before and went on to say that he had already told her that the day before.
I explained to him my had this conversation via text and was granted an appointment and that both on CarGuru and Kia of Frisco websites the vehicle is still posted as available. He then said he would confirm that the car had been sold and moved to have a discussion with several sales people including somewhat he called his manager. My appointment was with Cali Miller who had sent me 4 text messages. Kia of Frisco also sent me 2 text messages confirming my appointment.
According to the manager there was a delay in removing the car from the website and all appointments are made from a central office who knows where. He would be willing to make an adjustment on another car price. However I explained to him this is a bad "Bait and switch game" that they are playing.
This placed as no integrity and is run by incompetent people or crooks.
While I personally would never purchase a Kia, based on reviews and if you are interested look up Scotty Kilmer's reviews, I would now never purchase dealing with this dealership. They have done nothing but reinforce the belief that used car salesmen are crooks.
Unfortunately my nurse is still looking for car but at least we now know were not to go.
And to top it the car is still on both websites over 48 hours after being sold and it was willing to set me up with an appointment! Incompetent? Crooks? does it matter?

Working in the industry I have seen my fair share of good and bad car sales and after the many years you grow accustomed to things sometimes going a bit south during the buying experience. Usually in the end both parties can walk away happy. That was not the case this time. We were attempting to purchase a new vehicle after the test drive. We worked on getting a good interest rate and trade value. After a quite a few hours we came to an agreement on pricing. By the way you are forced to buy a 3k VIP package which is hardly more than a round about way of a dealer mark up. With cars being a hot commodity you are at the mercy of dealers who use these types of tactics to increase profits when they know you don't have any other choice due to inventory constraints. That being said we were ready for the final talks with the FI guy only to be told after an hour that the car was sold out from underneath us. Look I'm not an unreasonable person so if I had been told we were competing for the car we would have rushed a bit more to secure the deal but no such information was ever provided to us they had already pulled our credit which means we were now forced to finance through them or take a further hit to our credit shopping elsewhere. In the end the manager didnt even have the guts to talk to us to tell us what had happened and he sent the poor sales person to break the bad news with a lie. In the end after much anger and argument they found us another matching car which would be delivered after the end of the month (no more end of month push for metrics). We show up about a week later for delivery and low and behold the car isn't even detailed properly it's covered in stickers from the PDI inside and out just a quick wash and tire shine. We get the paperwork done with and I ask if we can get a "we owe" for the detail since it isn't done and I'm flat out told no that's how it is take it or leave it. As a note this was something we were promised in writing and verbally on the first car a free detail after purchase of a new car. At this point we are 8 hours into time at this dealer over 2 days and we just leave with the car. No remorse and no care from anyone we dealt with. I didn't have high expectations for this dealer and boy was I ever wrong. This experience was way worse than i had ever imagined. KIA as a manufacturer has come a long way and is sorely being let down by a majority of its dealers. I aim to tell as many people as humanly possible about my bad experience and use it as guidance for how not to do business with my own staff. I sincerely hope this is just a one off case for the sake of your sales staff but if not I truly feel bad for anyone who walks through the doors of this dealer.
Bad dealership refuse to give us the 1000 dollars they owe us . Very pushy I want a car but the Sale man wanted us to buy a different one.
Might be a good place to buy a KIA but I would caution about getting your car serviced here. Auto repair shops should be like a restaurant, clean kitchen, good quality food. Auto shop that is dirty, greasy and nasty makes you question the quality of their work. If you are buying a car here, ask for a shop tour before you sign your paperwork, make your own judgement.

He will tell you one price verbally and change the number on contract. It was my fault that I didn't look over the contract carefully but I trusted that the number on the contract was the same number as he mentioned. I called to ask him about it and all he can say was "you already signed it". Horrible person.

Almost a week later when the car arrived they told me that the car was actually presold to someone else that made a deposit last month. That is just terrible management and customer service. I tried calling and texting the manager on how they could take my deposit on a car that was already sold and crickets. I am pretty sure that they just got a higher offer and just made up some lie to me. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

On October 4, 2021 I went to this Kia dealership with my son to help him purchase a car and we were deeply disrespected by a manager.
Previously; we'd bought a car from associate Christopher Phillips, who treated us with a lot of respect, gave us a good deal, and worked hard to get it to us. So when we came back to the same dealership 2-3 weeks ago, we wanted use him again. While working with Christopher; a manager interfered, trying to get another salesman to help us. We declined as we were happy to continue working with Christopher, as he is a wonderful person and caring associate. At the end Mike Rodriguez, online sales manager, confirmed $56,000 out the door for the vehicle. We agreed, made a $500 deposit so they'd save the car.
On October 4th around 6-7pm we went to meet back up with Christopher. Again, management tried to impose someone else on us before we could continue with him. While reviewing the final details of the car, we asked a manager about painting the chrome black and he told us that it was going to be $2,000. This was much more than what the website quoted at $1,395, so my son and I asked why. He said that they don't do that service there and that they would have to send the car out. This is when everything started to go bad. We told him not to worry about it; that we would go do it somewhere else for less. We said that we wanted to go ahead and pay the $56k out the door. So we went ahead and started the credit application. I asked Christopher what was the interest rate, he said 1.9% if we qualify. I said "Oh wonderful, it's not bad". When he checked my credit score it was 820 thus we qualified for it. I started to do some calculations to help my son see how much his payments were going to be. He took the application to Mr. Rodriguez and Christopher came back with a sheet of paper and mentioned that we deposited $500 and told us how much our payment would be around $1k-$1200 a month. I corrected Chris that it was wrong and I wasn't going to put $500, but $20k down. He went back to talk with Mr. Rodriguez and figure out the new payment. Christopher came back and told us what the new payment would be around $680 per month. I asked why it was so much and he said that that's how much it would be and then Mr. Rodriguez walked in to where we were talking and working out the deal.
Below is the exchange we had to the best of my memory: Mr. Rodriguez asked "What's the deal? Are you going to buy the car or not?!"
I said "Sir, can you please excuse us for a minute while we talk with the sales person, we are trying to work out the numbers." He countered "Like it or not this is going to be the payment." Then I asked "How come you already know if we haven't gone to financing? And I have excellent credit." He refuted, that I was doing my calculations with a calculator and that I should trust his computer's calculations. "Like I said, if you want to buy the car this is going to be the payment, so if you don't want to buy it then get out of my store." I replied "I am sorry I didn't know this was your store and if I knew I was talking to the owner I could ask for something else." He denied calling it his store. When I pointed out he just had; Mr. Rodriguez got upset and yelled at my son, "Are you going to buy the car or not?" Immediately I told my son never to allow anyone to speak to you and disrespect you as a person like that. He then reached his limit of civility; walked to the exit and opened the door to kick us out, "Get out of the store." My son and I left; we said nothing bad towards him not wanting to add the scene Mr. Rodriguez had created. I do not believe this is the right way to treat customers.
To prevent others from being bullied and manipulated into over paying; I'm sharing our experience. I've owned my own business for 35 years and I've never disrespected a customer like how my family and I were disrespected here.
Sincerely Rudolph Romero

Typical sketchy car dealership. Inquired about a Telluride. The window sticker is on the website with MSRP, but the prices they are actually charging aren't listed - says "call for price." The first person I talked to said that a sales consultant could talk price with me upon arrival to the dealership. I refused to drive over until they told me. They obviously didn't want to tell me before showing up because they're charging $7500 over MSRP - clearly hoping I'll get there, like the vehicle, and go through with a purchase anyway. The internet sales manager then tried to tell me that they believe in transparency (when I told him I can just order one through another dealer). When I noted that the price isn't listed, he claimed they are transparent because if you click through random things (acting like you're going to purchase online), you do eventually see the price. That's not transparency. Transparency is listing it and letting people decide if it's worth their time.
Kia either needs to increase MSRP to put it more in line with where *certain* dealers' perceived value is or those dealers need to accept that they are taking short-term gains in exchange for long-term reputational damage. Terrible start for a new dealership. I would never do business with a dealership so blatantly taking advantage of its customers and using shady tactics to get you in the door. Went with another DFW Kia dealership.

I purchased a car on July 12 and was to return on July 13th and Michael R. Sold the car to another customer for $2000 more. Then he sits with me telling me the colors I needed to choose from. The family was sitting in the lobby and said they didn't tell them the car was sold.
Bad business deals are happening at this dealership.
